Today I would like to share 2 more Homeschool Resources with you. And once again they are from ClickSchooling. And this time it is Writing A-Z which I want to check into as I would like to start a Creative Writing Course with Charlie. As I think it would help with his spelling and language arts.

And the second resource I would like to share with you is Quiz Tree allows us to add to our reading and spelling and curriculum by offering quizzes for spelling and reading. Which I can use for Charlie. And you might be able to use for your students as well.

And another thing I would like to let you know about Quiz Tree is that it is totally free. Yes, you heard me right “FREE!! “FREE”  and #FREE” so make sure you check it out. And do not forget it is free.

Recommended Website:
Age Range: All (All grades; children with parental supervision)
This website offers animated, interactive educational quizzes on a variety of subjects including Spelling, Reading, Geography, History, Science, Music, and Foreign Languages.

Students of all ages can use the quizzes to test their knowledge, prepare for an exam, or learn something new. For example, children in grades K-3 (who are just learning to read) can try the Dolch sight words. Spelling Bee hopefuls can try mastering the lists of misspelled words. Older students can prepare for the SAT and GRE.

When you get to the site, scroll down to see the menu. It may seem sparse, but each line in that menu opens to a new page with numerous quizzes. You can even access the quizzes by grade level.

These quizzes (games) are fun, eye-pleasing, and include sound effects (so turn on your speakers). Some are drag-and-drop, and some are multiple-choice. Sometimes hints are available but may cost you points. Some quizzes are timed. If you get an answer wrong, one of a set of disappointed tones will sound and you will get another chance. A different set of sounds applaud your successes. At the end of the quiz, your score will be displayed and you will be given a chance to try the quiz again.

A bonus feature is that you can download a fully-functional trial version of a program called Quiz-Buddy to create your own quizzes offline!
