Angus Adams: the adventures of a free-range kid

Charlie and I were looking  on Amazon earlier today we found when we discovered a new book which Charlie wants to see if the library has. Charlie asked me to share the book with you and see if you or your children have read this story. The book is called Angus Adams: the adventures of a free-range kid: Book 1 of The Free-Range Kid Mysteries Kindle Edition.

Both Charlie and I like having physical books we can hold although you can get this on Amazon to read on a Kindle. If you look for us on  Monday we will be at the Haltom City Library. Charlie wants to see if they have a copy of  Angus Adams: the adventures of a free-range kid: Book 1 of The Free-Range Kid Mysteries Kindle Edition. Once we find this new book we also want to check and see how many books are  in the series if it’s a series.

As a free-range kid, Angus is allowed to do things other kids his age aren’t – like play in the street and hang out at the park without adults (shock, horror!) But when he’s accused of stealing an iPhone from school, Angus must use all of his brains, resilience, and courage to catch the real thief, clear his name, and outwit the seriously bad dudes hot on his tail!

Angus Adams and the Missing Pro Surfer (The Free-Range Kid Mysteries Book 2)

Angus thinks he’s in for a week of fun, sun, and surf, but he couldn’t be more wrong. When pro surfer, and new friend, Leo, goes missing just days out from a big title competition, Angus’s well-tuned instincts just can’t let it rest. When the adults won’t listen, it’s up to him (with help from Hamish and Bodhi) to find Leo. But can he do it in time? And more important – can he do it before he goes missing himself?

Angus Adams and Scream House: Book 3 of The Free-Range Kid Mysteries Kindle Edition

Angus, Hamish, and Bodhi are scouting for a movie location and the overgrown yard of the mysterious Scream House fits the bill perfectly. Yet, all is not as it seems. Angus finds himself in the middle of a nasty dispute, the adults are all acting strange, something weird is going on with his brother, and to top it all off, his new teacher hates him. Then things turn bad. In a terrifying life and death chase, Angus must run faster and smarter than ever before, to not only save himself, but the life of the small, frightened boy depending on him.

Lee. M. Winter

When Lee. M. Winter isn’t writing books for kids, she works at her day job as a psychologist in the area of parenting and child behavior research. Lee has a number of extremely dry, boring – let’s face it – brain numbing scientific publications out under a pen name.

Lee finds writing for kids way more fun!

She lives in sunny Brisbane, Australia and you can drop her an email at lee@leemwinter.com

I have a question for you have you read any of these books and if so what did you think of them? Or has your children read them and if so what did they think of them and why? Have you heard of the Author Lee M. Winter? If so have you read any of her books and if so what did you think of them?

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
