Blogger Shout Out  Lisa Robles from LisaTeachR’s Classroom

Can you believe it is almost time for “back to school”?  This morning I wanted to resume a feature we had on here last year called Homeschool Blogger Shoutout. Which gives me the opportunity to find items I can use with Charlie to help supplement his learning. While sharing details, you can use in your classroom.

I would like to welcome Lisa Robles from LisaTeachR’s Classroom. I’m all about strengthening instruction by sharing best practices for innovative classrooms! Follow me to learn more about great instructional practices.

I would like to invite you to check out Lisa’s store on Teachers Pay Teachers before you visit her store let me give you some advice plan to stay a while as there is so much to see on her site. When I was inside her store, she was having a sale and with it being time to go back to school sales help a lot.

This morning I would like to share with you what I plan on purchasing for Charlie to give his teacher to use in her classroom as it will help make all the children more comfortable and the first week of school easier and calmer for Charlie’s teachers. I could see the principal having all the teachers in the school use this new back to school resource.

Back to School Team Building Activites

I made this because that first week of school is so crucial. You want to be sure to familiarize your kids with routines and procedures. To me, however, what is most important is building trust and community. Those kids will be with each other and you all year, so that is so important. I hope these activities help you create that environment where your students feel loved, secure and supported.

Activities have directions and a student sheet (unless that doesn’t apply). The packet contains:
Find a friend who p. 4
Who am I? p. 6
Word Wranglers p. 8
One Side of the Room p. 10
Hula Hoop Challenge p. 12
Line up! p. 13
Thank you p. 15

I hope you enjoy this new Homeschool Resource as much as I did and that you enjoyed learning about Lisa and her website. Because this is a feature I had on here last year and I have decided to bring it back. So if you or someone you know is a Homeschool Blogger and you would like to see them featured on here, Please leave me a comment and a link to there website so I can contact them about featuring them on this blog.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
