Blogging from A to Z APRIL 2016 Challenge Letter Y

I mentioned to Charlie that we were on letter  “Y” in the Ultimate Blog Challenge. Charlie what he would wanted to share for Letter Y. So Charlie hurried off to get the item he wanted to share  while s he was gone I figured   I knew what he would come back with and I was right. Because Charlie brought his yo-yo. Because Charlie has been trying to learn how to work a yo-yo since he was very little. So today I would like to share a fact about me with you: I am not the person to help Charlie with his  yo-yo as I am terrible at trying to make yo-yo’s go back up and Charlie gets frustrated with me so I refuse to even try and help him anymore.

Y

Since I didn’t know how well David would be at teaching Charlie either  even though he says he knows how to do tricks on yo-yo’s  I think it is time Charlie and David to sit down and get out the yo-yo’s and see if they can learn how to do tricks on his. If David doesn’t do this then I will get Charlie a book on yo-yo’s and see if I can’t find someone in our area to teach him as playing with a yo-yo is something all boys need to lean.

A to Z Challenge Letter Y

I purchased Charlies  yo-yo  from school to help the PE raise money for equipment.  As I thought we could use Charlies yo-yo  for math and science and now it looks like reading.  My question for you this morning is as a child were you good at  doing tricks with a yo-yo? If so did you teach yourself or did someone teach you? Can you do tricks with them? If so can you teach Charlie for me? Or is there something you think I should get to help Charlie out with.

Now I would like to ask you what you like that starts with the letter y and why you picked that item out?

Since we are on the letter “Y” I have another item  almost forget to share with you and I can’t believe Charlie didn’t want to start with it. It is the  yard as Charlie loves loves loves loves  playing in the dirt with his cars and trucks. When Charlie was smaller it was Thomas The Train and all of the items that went with it.  Also we play a lot of soccer, football and basketball in our yard. Also we love digging and planting flowers and one day we  would love to have a Garden. Charlie is one who would go out at Dawn and stay out till the next day if I let him.. So we live outside a lot and I am glad as it allows us to make new memories. So our next adventure in the yard will be cooking out and making Smores.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
