Two C-10’s

Another week is has passed Charlie made it through with minimal problems. Except he did end up with two C-10s. I know you do not understand what this means. So let me tell you what it means and what Charlie did. In Charlie’s school, C-10 means not behaving responsibly. For Charlie at the end of school two days in a row, he had gotten out pens and pencils and was coloring Mrs. Williams said he held the other children up.

Everything was supposed to have been put up, and they should have been sitting at there desk not doing anything waiting for time dismiss them to come home. I can understand that but for Charlie, it is hard to be still and for him to sit still. David and I didn’t get on Charlie forgetting the C10s. Then last night he didn’t have his library books. We had to use some of our own for reading, and I didn’t mind that. I was getting tired of the two books we had been reading.

When I went through his folder and his handwriting paper was missing, and Charlie had finished as I had sat down with Charlie while he did it. I am not sure what is going to happen as I did send a note to the teacher so all I can do is wait until Charlie comes home to find out what happened.

Then yesterday he had done his math and the teacher said it wasn’t done. I sent a not to school letting her know Charlie had it done as we had done it together. So again we will see what happens. Then he has a spelling test this week and we went over the words so I know he knows them. I can’t wait to see what grade he gets. As last week he made a 90 as the teacher said he missed a letter in the word crowd and to me, it looked like he had it in there but a 90 was an awesome grade for Charlie so I left it alone.

Last week we took Charlie to eat at Cici Pizza as it is one of ChaCharlie’svorite restaurants and one he will actually eat at. So this week even though Charlie did ok in school David gets to pick where he wants to go eat at and he want’s Chinese Food which Charlie enjoys. Although I am not to crazy about Chinese Food, I will eat it because David does so much for me.

Next week I will get to chose and I would like Poncho’s or a Steak and Baked Potato. But that should be the week Charlie gets his report card and if he does a good job, I will let Charlie chose where he wants to eat. Which means there goes both my steak and Poncho’s. Which is OK as Charlie has worked hard this semester.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
