Charlie and I went to Dinner at Outback Steackhouse

Charlie and I went to Dinner Sunday evening at Outback Steakhouse in Hurt, Texas.  So we could learn more about there new program called ” Dine Rewards restaurant loyalty program” and I was able to take David’s mom as my Guest as David had to work.

So I would like to let you know Outback picked up the ticket for our meal but the thoughts in this review are all mine, Charlies and Davids moms.

And it was nice being able to take Granny Sherry to dinner. As she does so much for all three of us. So on Sunday Sherry called me to make sure she was still going and that David hadn’t gotten off work early.

And she tickled me as she asked me if she should wear her red tennis shoes she had bought for Charlie and I said yes, Charlie would like that a lot.

Then a little bit later she emailed me a picture of herself and asked if she looked OK. And she was perfect in the Halloween shirt she had picked out. But she didn’t wear her read shoes and Charlie was upset about that. But it’s okay as it means we need to go out to dinner again so she can wear them.

Sherry was so kind as to find a Halloween shirt for me as well. And it just happened to be purple which was my favorite color. So once Charlie was dressed we headed out to  Outback Steakhouse in Hurst, Texas.

We had a reservation at 5 pm and got there a few minutes early so we could ask for the manager Travis Stevenson. So as we waited on Travis the host went ahead and seated us and let us know who our waitress was. And our waitress was so polite and professional that when we return to Outback Steakhouse I would like to ask for her. The only problem with that is Charlie was talking to me and I missed her name.

So we let our waitress know we was waiting on Travis but she asked if we would like to go ahead and get a drink and we all did. And she even offered to bring us some bread. Which we said would be fine as Charlie was hungry. And the bread was so good that I could have made a meal out of it.

And before we even sat down Charlie knew what he wanted for dinner as he had me look up the menu online. So as we waited for Travis Charlie and his grandmother went over what he wanted.

And Sherry started to look at her menu and she picked out the following New! Classic Tenderloin Chopped Steak with a  blend of tenderloin and chuck steak topped with sautéed mushrooms, grilled onions and Cabernet sauce. Served with homestyle mashed potatoes and fresh steamed broccoli.

Which once we ordered  and it arrived well Done just as Sherry asked you could tell it would taste wonderful. And it did and Sherry says she can’t wait to bring David Senior back to try it. And I also want to bring David Jr. as I know he will also love the Classic Tenderloin Chopped Steak especially since it comes with Mushrooms.

Then Charlie ordered Chicken Strips and French Fries and I knew they must be good because before I could even ask what he had thought of them he had finished them.

And Charlie did ask for a dessert and there was a Sundae on the children’s menu he had thought of trying but by the time our waitress came back to the table he had changed his mind as he wanted to get back home to play some more.

As for me I picked out the Outback Center Cut Sirloin in the 8 oz size and it came with a Salad and also a signature side and there was several different ones I could chose from. Including some yummy sounding Mashed Potatoes. But I stuck with the loaded backed potato and I am glad I did as it was so good.

And to start our dinner off Sherry and I shared a Blommin Onion for Davids Aunt Kathy who was in the hospital and it was so good. That we can’t wait for her to get out so we can take her to get Kathy to get her  own.

And if it is in the next two weeks it will be perfect as Outback will be premiering a new menu. And I can’t wait to see what all is on it. And I hope my family can return to Outback Steakhouse to check out the new menu as it would make a wonderful Christmas Gift for David.

And to use our “Dine Rewards restaurant loyalty program,” as it would allow us to start building our points for a half off meal. And like I told Sherry it would be the perfect time to purchase Gift Cards to give as Christmas Gifts especially if you shared the “Dine Rewards restaurant loyalty program,” with the recipient of the Gift Cards as they could sign up and start saving point to future meals.

So if you haven’t been to Outback Steakhouse in a while I hope you will think about going as the food was wonderful. And they had redone this Outback and it is so cute. And as you walk in check out the drink bar they have set up. And take a look at the Spice Rack as Sherry wanted Charlie to bring that home with him for her home.

Thank you for taking the time to read “Charlie and I went to Dinner at Outback Steakhouse” and if you have been to Outback Steakhouse what do you get when you go there?

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
