As a Parent we have questions about our children.

As a parent we have questions about our children. For me personally one of the things I question is does Charlie had ADD or ADHD or can you have both and does Charlie.

I may never have a concrete answer to these questions because we always get different answers from Doctor’s and no, one has the same answers or even tell us to do the same things. Instead, we get no, don’t do this do this instead. I am about to hit my head on the wall.

All I can tell you is I love my son no, matter what. I want to help him in any way I can. Which including Homeschooling Charlie.

I sat down on Saturday to listen to more classes from the 2016 Digital Homeschool Convention. I came across a Seminar called “Homeschooling with Special Needs”.

I feel in love with this mom and her son who reminded me of Charlie. Through her I was able to learn so much that I can use in my home as well as in our homeschool class. Through this class I now no, matter what I can Homeschool Charlie and we will be okay.

I would like to ask you to make you to take the time to check out “Homeschooling with Special Needs” even if your child doesn’t have “Special Needs.”

Meet Missica

Missica is a mom to Mr. B, aged 11. Mr. B was diagnosed with severe Autism at age 2, and severe ADHD at age 4. Mr. B. is now extremely high functioning.

Missica earned a B.A. in Sociology and minors in Criminal Justice, History, French, and Meteorology. Mr. B wants to be an Astronaut and a Meteorologist when he grows up.

When she’s not blogging, you’ll usually find Missica with a camera in her hand capturing Wedding memories across the U.S. You can learn more at her blog, Through the Open Window.

Since this post was originally written we have found out that Charlie suffers from Dyslexia. I figured Charlie did and that he does have ADD/ ADHD through a test the school gave Charlie.

I’m so happy to say it isn’t bad enough to put Charlie on Medicine like Suzzane had to be on. Although Charlie’s attitude is horrible at times. I wonder what causes this anger and how to stop it.

Charlie has gotten so hateful and disrespectful that I want to just run from the room. Nothing, I say or do means anything. Getting mad and frustrated and yelling doesn’t help the situation it just makes Charlie hit or break things.

If you have any suggestions on what might be happening or how to fix these things, please let me know. I’m so afraid Charlie’s attitude is going to get him into trouble at school.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
