Homeschool Unit Studies or Lesson Plans For Frogs

I would like to invite you to come and check out Homeschool Unit Studies or Lesson Plans for Frogs with us in your classroom. Frogs is a lesson plan Charlie asked me if we could create for our classroom because Charlie has always been obsessed with frogs. Ever since he was a little boy and would catch them outside and bring them inside and put them in his father’s Shower so the frogs wouldn’t get hurt.

Elle Emme Frog week

When you’re homeschooling your children, you have to make adjustments. This week for my family this is finding things we can do online or without a printer. As my printer has broken and I can’t purchase a new one until David returns to work full time and he starts to get regular checks.

Elle Emme from LM Solutions and I have been working around the no, printer issues to get this week’s lesson plan done and sometimes that isn’t as easy as it sounds. We were able to come up with the following lessons for Charlie which will allow all of us to study frogs.

Come and join us and let’s get this week started and once again if you do have a printer and you want to add more items to your lessons for frogs just google Frogs and you will find homeschooling resources you can use in your studies. Although if  you’re like me and do not have a printer run to your local library and you can print out schoolwork there and while there you could check out books on Frogs. Which is something Charlie and I plan on doing this week because visiting the library will be our Field Trip for the week.

One jumped into the pool

WATCH THIS FIRST Frogs and Toads 2
Then watch this lesson The Life Cycle of A Frog
If they finish the work each day check out this new site Elle Emme shared with me. Charlie loves Mazes and this website is full of Mazes, we can print out and do. Mazes help Charlie with focusing and to learn to pay attention to details.
Check out Brainy Maze and let me know which maze you and your family would like to do.
If I can get to the library or for my mother-in-law to print some worksheets out for me, I would like for Charlie to have this new color sheet Frog Facts Color and Copy work and to color it for our classroom and I know this new resource is something Charlie, David and I all would enjoy and could work on as a family.
Here are other Frog resources you might like to check out:
