“I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Depend. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.”

As I get older I seem to have more issues with my bladder and my stomach. So there is times when I am afraid to eat as we will be leaving to run errands. and when out I am afraid  I will either end up with leaking or Diarrhea. Shh I know that is a ugly word but it has been happening more and more. So I end up taking a extra change of clothes every time we leave home. Which keeps me from being as active as I would like to be.

Sometimes after having a accident I have wanted to just throw the panties I have on away. But they cost so much that I either leave them on and hope no one notices or smells me. Or I take them off and go without which makes me uncomfortable. If I decide to take them off then  I have to find something to stick them in and put them in the car. Which I do not like doing as I am always afraid someone will open the sack I place them in and know what has happened. Which would be so embarrasing.

Once  I found out about this campaign for Depend #Underwareness  I knew it would make my life so much easier. As I could purchase a box to keep inside the car.  As they will work under any type of clothes I am wearing. Plus they come in two colors which I like.  They are Black and Beige and would go with anything. I just wish they had a white pair as well.

I have been exercising more I have been looking for underwear that would be comfortable to wear and not move and not ride up my behind. Like the Cotton ones  purchased at Walmart.   So I was so excited to try out Depends #Unwearables Silhouette Active Fit  when  I went out walking as I wanted to see if they would stay in place. Which Depend did and it did not bunch up. Nor could you tell I was wearing them.   I did not sweat as bad as I do with the Cotton Underwear I usually wear. Also did not cut into my legs. I like knowing  they help combat the scent I find I have sometimes. I like the fact that  they are lower rise as they do not show if I chose to wear shorts or pants with a low waistband.

David saw me open the Depends and came over to see what they was. Once I told him they what they was he said he thought they was made of paper but when I let him touch them and saw they wasn’t he asked me where to purchase them at as he would like to get some for his mom.

So today I would like to share something with you as women who may need a different kind of underwear, the Depend brand is introducing Depend Silhouette Active Fit briefs. Which I wish my mom was still here as she would have needed this as she used to leak everywhere. Which made it awkward to sit in a chair she had sat in as it would be wet.  So knowing Depend offers a new moderate-absorbency brief featuring a thin design for complete comfort and the trusted protection of the Depend brand makes it something I will not mind sharing with friends and family.

There is a lot  I did not know about  Depend such as  they are  entering year two of Underwareness, which is a social movement and charitable cause to break down the bladder leakage stigma. Where was this last year when it started for me??? Or for my mom who had been having this problem for longer.

As part of Underwareness, the Depend brand is encouraging people to show their support for women with bladder leakage. For every photo and video shared using #Underwareness, the Depend brand will donate $1, up to $3 million, through 2016 to fund charities that advance the research and education of bladder leakage.
