Holiday Events in Fort Worth

There is definitely no need to sit home in November. There are Holiday Events in Fort Worth happening every night of the week. When I find new Events, I will be sharing them with you on here in this post.
You can create a list so you don’t miss any Family Friendly Events. Give me a second to grab my calendars while you grab your calendar. We can write down  events we would like to attend.
Charlie and David would like to attend Stockyards Station Santa’s Arrival. We think it would be fun to attend                Santa’s Arrival. While in the Stockyards we could have dinner at Riskey’s where David could get all you can eat Ribs. I could spend time visiting the stores.

2016 Parade of Lights

Kimbel Kids Drop-In Studio Moving Still Life’s

Saturday, December 17, 2016 – 1:00 PM

It’s a great way to introduce your little one (12 and under) to the wonders of a museum. Not only do you get to view the gallery during the session, but you also get to work together on an art project. Be sure to get there an hour early because space is limited.

It’s a day filled with exciting things to do throughout Downtown, from taking care of your holiday shopping in Sundance Square to dining out in some of the most excellent restaurants in Fort Worth, all while enjoying the holiday spirit of the country’s top holiday parade.

Sundance Square

The XTO Energy Parade of Lights begins at 6:00 PM at the intersection of Belknap Street and Throckmorton Street. The parade proceeds east along Belknap Street, then it turns South on Commerce and goes all the way to 9th Street. At 9th Street, the parade turns west, proceeds past the Convention Center to Houston St., and then turns north on Houston Street all the way to Weatherford St.

Cowboy Santa’s

Volunteers will collect toys around the parade route before the parade. Everyone is encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy (for up to 12 years of age) to give to the Cowboy Santa’s to help provide kids around Fort Worth in having a brighter holiday!

For more than 32 years, the city has gathered, sorted and maintained toys throughout Tarrant County to children of families with income at or below 150% of poverty income guidelines.

Toy donations must be new. Items that pose a health or safety risk cannot be accepted, including toys that represent violence. For more information, please go to Cowboy Santa’s

The lighting of the Sundance Square Christmas Tree will take place on Saturday, November 19 at 6:30

Please visit Sundance Square Christmas Tree for more information!

I would like to invite you back and to ask if you would come and share any events you know that are happening during the Holidays with Charlie and me so we can let our readers know about these events and Charlie and I would like to invite you to come and share your Holiday/Christmas Traditions with Charlie and me.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
