Funday Sunday Memory Verse : Rejoice

Even though David is working on Saunday’s after last night I have relized it is time to bring God back into our home full time. Even if it isn’t something David wants. So even though David works on Sunday there is no, reason Charlie and I can’t go to Church. As there are plenty around our home we can walk to. Plus, we can watch Church services on TV. Or pull them up on Youtube. Or even just get out the Bible and spend time reading it and discussing it each week.

Because if things don’t change her soon then we may not have a family or we may mess Charlie up so much. That when he grows up he doesn’t want to get married or have children and if he does he will not know how to treat his wife or kids. So it is time to end all the negativity in our home. So to do this Charlie and I will be learning a Memory Verse a week and Praying and spending time together one on one.

If David wants to keep this family together he will have to step up as well. The cussing and yelling at Charlie and I must stop immediately and he must make time for us. David doesn’t have to come to Church with us or learn Memory Verses but he has to change his attitude. Because I refuse to live the way we have been living and if it takes me actually leaving for things to change then that is what I will do. As Charlie must come first as he is a child and didn’t ask to be born.

As his parent it is my responsibility as well as Davids to protect and take care of him. This means more than financially. It means with kindness and love. Supporting his dream as well as his fears. Along with spending time with him and not putting things before him. Taking the time to put him to bed and cuddle with. Turning off the phones and computers and listening to the things he has to tell me.

So this morning “I Promise” to change and become the mom you should have and to stop letting thins get in the way. As I love you and I am here for you each and every day. Just as I am for David if he would let  me be. In Gods name I make these “PROMISES” to my family now and always.
