Giant Gems Of The Smithsonian

We were in the lecture learning more about what was happening at the Perot Museum when they mentioned the Giant Gems Of The Smithsonian. I knew immediately it would have been something both my Uncle Chuck and Suzzane would have liked to have viewed.

Once done and able to walk around the Museum and see all the Exhibits I wanted to head to the 3rd floor to see the Giant Gems of the Smithsonian display. Although Charlie wanted to stay where were was and go into the Sports Hall of Fame. David and I discussed what we could do so Charlie would be able to do something fun since he was kind enough to go with me to the Perot Museum.

We decided since the Elevators was full and my knee was bothering me that David would go ahead and use the stairs and go on up to the 3rd floor while I stayed with Charlie so he could play inside the Sports Hall of Fame. I am so glad I did as I was able to see Charlie have fun and act like a child for the first time in a long, long time.

David was so kind to take all kinds of pictures for me to see since I wasn’t able to see the Giant Gems Of The Smithsonian in person. Which is okay with me as they will be at the Perot Museum until January 17th, 2017. If things work out the way, I hope they do we will return before the Exhibit is over so Charlie and I can both view this exhibit.

If we do not get back to see that Exhibit for whatever reason, I plan on asking David if we can go back during Christmas Break. As they will be hosting a lot of new and different things for our children to do and I want to be able to let Charlie visit the Children’s Museum as we weren’t able to on the day we were there.
