I would like to introduce you to  Lauren DiFelice with JoLina Boutique. Lauren is our latest addition in our Direct Sales Gift Guide. I can’t wait until I lose all the weight I want to lose as I would like to try out the leggings. Right now I’m too big and would like like a baby whale in a pair.

1. Tell me how you got involved in your business?
 I have a love for fashion and the newest trends and wanted the freedom to own my own business so I did just that!
2. What does a typical day look like as in the like of someone who runs their own business?
 It’s amazing! I get to spend all day with my twin babies and post on social media, check on orders and ship and process orders as needed!  It allows me the flexibility I need!
 3  What attributes does someone need to have in order to be really successful in this position?
 In order to start your own business you need to have a love for whatever your doing. I love these leggings and clothes I am constantly bringing into my boutique and want to share them with the world! 
 4. What are the biggest challenges that someone in this position would face?
Carrying an inventory is a little bit of a challenge however I do pop up shows and markets so it is constantly coming in and going out!
5.  What did you do before you started your business?
 I was a full time corporate event planner, now I’m a full time mom, health and wellness coach and own my online boutique!
6.   Please tell us about your business, and the products you offer?
I offer super soft leggings from kids to adult size 22, dresses, sweaters, tops, palazzo pants and fun trendy jewelry!
 7. What is your favorite part about working from home?
 Getting to spend all day with my kids!
8. What can you tell me about your new products or plans for growth?
 My inventory is constantly changing and I am always looking forward to adding to my team!
9. What do you feel is your greatest sales accomplishment and when/why did it happen?
 Black Friday!  I was at a market and it was insane!!!  So many pair of leggings will be given as gifts this holiday season and I couldn’t be more excited about that!!!

10. How do you balance client expectations versus real expectations? How do you handle it when they are too high?
 I prefer the clients to touch and feel the product, once they do they can see the quality I brag about is real. I only buy products I love and believe in. 
 11. Pretend I’m a prospect and give me an example of a pitch of a product or service you are selling.
 I don’t really have a pitch, these leggings and clothes sell their self!
 12.  How do you keep up to date on your target market?
 I constantly offer giveaways for people who invite new friends to my group who would love the clothing. 
 13. Tell Us about your company, how it started, and the products you offer.
 I started my company officially a few months ago however I have been doing online live sales and album sales since last February  I offer women’s and little girls clothing and jewelry 
 14.  What is the best seller of your products?
My super soft leggings 
15.   How do you feel your product or services can benefit others?
Comfort!  They are so comfortable yet cute and can be dressed up or down. I wear them everyday as a stay at home mom because it’s just easy and comfortable, they wash well and store well. It’s also easy for me to go from a pair of uggs all day to boots, flats or heels and transition into a dressy outfit for going out. 
 16.  What are some of your favorite questions to ask a potential client or customer?
Their style. I have a pair of leggings for everyone!
17. What roll does Social media play in your selling process?
 A huge roll!  It is the way I conduct the majority of my business. 
 18. How do you handle irate clients/customers?
 Luckily I haven’t had any yet. 
 19.  What’s worse not reaching a goal every month or not having happy customers?
Not having happy customers. 
20. If you were a potential client/customer what would you want to hear about your business, products or services.
That they love the product so much they tell their friends about it!
