Guess Who’s Joined My Holiday Gift Guide: Brick Loot

Good afternoon, I would like to share a new company with you called Brick Loot in exchange for a review and spot in this year’s Holiday Gift Guide.  As I wait for my box from Brick Loot to arrive, I would like to let you know I am working with Brick Loot on behalf of US Family Guide and that the thoughts in this review which will follow once the box arrives all the thoughts will be mine and my families.

REVIEW

I was getting ready to set up the bedroom for all the Christmas Wrapping I will be doing I remembered my Gift from US Family Guide had arrived. Once I opened the box from Brick Loot I wanted to put the items together but I knew that wouldn’t be fair or nice to do to Charlie.

I went and showed the box to David, and we looked through it and took the print that came inside the box to the Dollar Store and purchased a frame for it. So after Christmas Charlie can hang the print up in his room. David and I took the time to visit SweetPetesCandy.com as we had a postcard and coupon inside our Brick Loot box and everyone who knows Charlie and I know we love our candy.

I continued looking through the box and I found a coupon for BrickJournal a magazine about all things Lego. As I looked at the coupon I noticed we can even order back issues of BrickJournal which I will be checking into after Christmas as this will give both Charlie and David something to do together. Which should keep them out of my hair I hope and pray.

I love that each box comes with a postcard that tells us exactly what is inside our box. I also like knowing they tell us how made the items inside the box and how to find out more information on him as we could do a report of him for Charlies school for extra credit. Or if you’re homeschooling you could use this in your classroom.

For more fun they have even included a recipe and a candy tray so you can make Gummy candy which Charlie and I will do as soon as he gets his box from Brick Loot. Which knowing there is a recipe to make candy I might not be able to wait until Christmas. But I will do my best to keep it till then.

We also received a Cotton Candy Cart we can make. I just wish it came with real Cotton Candy as both Charlie and I love it and can never have enough Cotton Candy. The case it comes in is re-close able so Charlie will always have a place to store these pieces and not lose them. Plus there is a card that shows us what goes in the container and also, how to make our Cotton Candy Cart.

Our kit also comes with a mini figure Sweet Pete which is 100% custom Lego. Which means you will not find it any place other than in Lego’s so one day it just might become a collectable  and worth some money. So don’t let your dogs get a hold of it because I could see Charlie doing that.

Also, inside our box was candy from the Candy Shop and it is also a exclusive from Brick Loot so if you would like to have some candy you will need to purchase your own box from Brick Loot because I am not sure Charlie will share once we give him his box. Although, he might surprise me and share. Because sometimes he is nice like that

The last item inside out box was Sweet Pete’s Mini City Candy Shop and I must tell you I loved loved loved the lollipop on top of the building. I know both Charlie and David will as well. There is 126 pieces in the set which will keep Charlie busy for a little while and give me some time to myself.

I like that the box clearly tells us this is for 6+ and up because you don’t have to wonder what age this new Gift would be for and if it is appropriate for a certain age you’re looking for. I think this new set would be perfect for both boys and girls. It will help them build their focus which Charlie has trouble with.

Once Charlie receives this kit at Christmas, I will be back to share his thoughts with you as well as mine and David’s as I am sure we will end up playing with Charlie and I am almost sure once both Charlie and David see this new kit that they ask if we can sign up for Brick Loot. Which I plan on doing as it is the perfect gift for any time of the year as it encourages learning by reading.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
