Hawaiian Falls in Roanoke, Texas

Charlie, David and I visited Hawaiian Falls in Roanoke, Texas because I have a pass called Pogo Pass. If you haven’t heard of this, the Pogo Pass allows us to visit local attractions in Dallas/ Fort Worth.

I wanted to share some information on Pogo Pass is for those of you who haven’t heard about the pass which provides you 12 months of FREE access to the best entertainment venues in your city or State.

Each Pogo Pass is individualized with the name of the pass holder, the expiration date of the pass, and a unique barcode for tracking and use. One thing I would like to share with you is Pogo Pass is non-transferable and can be used only by the original pass holder. If you aren’t able to visit all the attractions on the pass in a year then that attraction is wasted.

The cost of a Pogo Pass covers your admittance fee to attractions for an amount decided by the company who chose to work with Pogo Pass. David, Charlie and I all have a pass and explored Hawaiin Falls last week and we were allowed to choose any location in Dallas or Fort Worth. After checking out all four locations we picked out Hawaiin Falls in Roanoke, Texas.

Once we arrived at Hawaiin Falls and unloaded the car, I was surprised when a Tram pulled up and asked us if we wanted a ride into the park. and this is one feature I liked a lot, and it makes this park special because there isn’t another water park in Fort Worth that has a Tram.

I’m glad Hawaiian Falls did because it was more comfortable carrying items into the park because we had an Ice Chest, and I didn’t have to worry about dropping things and losing them on the way into the park.

Once we walked into the park we decided to walk around so we could see everything they had before we started to play which was the hardest part of the day as it was hard keeping David and Charlie from getting on the slides before we finished our tour and once we ended our tour Charlie and David lined up for the slides and the lines moved so quickly I didn’t even know they were gone as I sat down to read a book and before I finished the second page they were back and ready to move onto the next slide.

Charlie and David enjoyed playing on the slides so much that I left them alone leaving them to play until they were tired. Once they finished we went and got into Breaker Bay.

I didn’t think I would ever get Charlie out of this attraction because he was having so much fun playing. Charlie didn’t even get an Inner Tube. He just walked in the pool and floated and waited for the waves to come.

Just hearing Charlie laugh and be a child made the day perfect. Knowing Breaker Bay and Hurricane Falls was this way made me want to return again and again as there aren’t many times, Charlie lets loose and becomes a child.

Unlike other Water Parks we’ve visited in the past, I felt like I could sit down and let Charlie go and play by himself and he wouldn’t get lost. No, one would bother him because of the way the park was designed. I could see Charlie pretty much at all times from any place I sat or any attraction I chose to go on.

My favorite part of the Park was Rainforest River Adventure because I loved being able to walk around at my speed. If we wanted to, we could have gotten Inner Tubes to use which Charlie did.

Charlie had so much fun that he had us going around and around and around. We all liked seeing the Frogs that decorated Rainforest River Adventure and for me, I wanted to bring the frogs home with us because they would look lovely in my room.

Rainforest River Adventure

Enjoy the winding wonders of our lazy river with waterfalls, frogs, and turtles.

Charlie and I also enjoyed seeing everyone playing with Water Balloons with the Tsunami Soaker. I asked Charlie if he wanted to play as well. Charlie said no, so we went on and found something else Charlie wanted to do.

Aas the day went on, and Charlie saw how much fun everyone was having he changed his mind but there was a long line by then so we will do it the next time we visit Hawaii Falls.

Tsunami Soaker

Play the ultimate water balloon game which your family won’t want to miss the brand-new Tsunami Soaker at Hawaiian Falls in Roanoke! Where you will battle your opponent until you become soaked in this epic game of water balloon wars. Almost as much fun to watch as it is to play!

For Charlie, I think his favorite part was the Tiki Man who would talk to you, then he would squirt you with water when you weren’t expecting it. Let me tell you Tiki Man squirted me.

I was pretty wet, and Tiki Man got me right in the face thanks to Charlie annoying him This was fun and when we return, I’m going to have Tiki Man squirt Charlie and see how he likes it.

Tiki Man

Tiki Man is an interactive water feature that will have you laughing in no time!

There is a lot more we could share with you such as the rest of the rides, restaurants and Gift Shops, but I didn’t want to give away everything away because I think you should visit the park.

Although if you can’t get to the park you can check out Hawaiian Falls website and see all the fun things, they have for both adults and children of all ages.

Let me tell you all three of us loved Hawaiian Falls and we can’t wait to return because we all had so much fun. There was something for each of us to do.

Although it was hard to choose what we wanted to do first because we all wanted to do something different the employees suggested what to do. I liked how friendly and helpful they were.

I would like to share one of the features I liked the most which was seeing all the Lifeguards everywhere. I knew Charlie would be safe no, matter what he chose to do.

I would like to remind you to check out Pogo Pass because next week Charlie, and I will be visiting Fort Worth, Zoo. Not only that there are a lot more attractions that Charlie and I haven’t heard of.

Which we will be able to attend thanks to Pogo Pass. If you’re not in the Dallas/Fort Worth area it’s okay as Pogo Pass is also used in other States. If you would like to see which States you can find the list here.

Each Pogo Pass Member Receives

(1) General admission ticket to Hawaiian Falls Waterpark which is open Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Pass holders can choose to use their visit at any of the 4 locations. Just present your Pogo Pass at the admissions window to be admitted to the park.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
