As I Plan For Charlie to return to school, we have been looking for websites Charlie, and I can use to make sure he stays on task for 4th grade. I would like to ask you a question. “How do you help your children prepare for back to school”? Are there particular websites you use? Or think we should stay away from and if so why?
Charlie and I will be using Groza Learning Center this year as we prepare to return to school. Charlie struggles with reading and math. I know if the school doesn’t get Charlie tutoring then we will need to.
This is where Groza Learning Center comes into Charlie’s education. If we were still homeschooling Charlie and I had known about Groza Learning Center, I would have used Groza Learning Center for reading. I want to make sure Charlie is on the right level in reading for his grade and I knew I might not be able to provide the items Charlie needed.
I would like to let you know Groza Gives back to High School students and through there Learning Center Education Scholarship. This program is to allow High School students to attend college.
I wish I had known about Groza Gives back when Suzzane was here because I couldn’t afford to send her to college, but through Groza Gives back , Suzzane would have been able to attend college and fulfill her dreams.
If God is willing and Charlie graduates and wants to go on to college, I Pray Groza Gives Back is still around because the way things are going at this time, neither David or I can afford to send Charlie to college. We will have to depend on scholarships or Charlie will not be able to go unless he gets a job and pays his way through college.
To be eligible for the scholarship the students must write an essay about a given topic and this year they are to “explain what ‘redemption’ means to them and how it has played a role in their lives and in their interactions with others. I can’t wait to ask Charlie this question and see what he says.
