Homeschool Resource Virtual Field Trips

As we get ready to end this week of Homeschooling I wanted to do something different and fun because Charlie is getting board always working in the workbooks we have to do. We keep visiting the same websites over and over, which isn’t fun. I had thought about us taking Fridays off, but instead of taking the entire day off we will be using it for a “FREE DAY”! During our “Free DAY’ we will play Board Games and attend Virtual Field Trips.

If you are new to Homeschooling like Charlie and I are. You may not know what you can or can’t do. Homeschooling there isn’t any right or wrong answers. Come and join us on our Homeschooling Journey. Once we finish, I have some games for us to play and a book for us to read that tells us more about Field Trips.

Before we get ready to leave I wanted to give you a definition of what a Field Trip is and then I would like for you to ask your students to explain a Field Trip to you in their own words. Let them list five places they would want to visit on a Field Trip. Once Charlie has his listed we are going drawing pictures of the places we would like to attend.

Here is a definition of a Field Trip:

noun
Simple Definition of the field trip

Make sure you grab some snacks to take on your Virtual Field Trip as Charlie, and I will be taking some water and Nabisco Honey Graham Crackers.   Charlie would like to know what your favorite snack would be to take on a Field Trip and why you chose that snack. Charlie says he would be happy to share his lunch with you and would you like to share your meals with us?
Once we are on the Road to get to our Field Trip even though we are not leaving “HOME.” I found some Car Games on Educents that we will be purchasing to use on Fridays when we take our virtual Field Trips as it will make the trips last longer. We can take the Car Games to the park to play.

Charlie asked me to help him find some books on Field Trips so once we finish with our Field Trip we can climb on the couch and read for a bit before we go outside to play Soccer. So this morning while Charlie was asleep I went to Amazon, and I found two books that I thought  Charlie would enjoy. The books I picked out are The Worst Class Trip Ever and also Field Trip

Charlie would like to know which book you and your students would want to read the most and why you chose it. Or is there another book about Field Trips that you would prefer reading and if so what is it? Do you have a link to this book so Charlie and I can check it out? As both Charlie and I love checking out new books and the Authors who created the books.

I hope you enjoyed learning about our homeschool Resource Virtual Field Trips brought to us by ClickSchooling and that you found some new things for you and your students to do.  I would like to remind you if you click on the links in this post that they have my affiliate links in them and I will make a small percentage of the sales.
Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
