Through Baseball we can provide a framework for teaching students a variety of concepts.  Which can include history, social studies, math, or literature, as well as spelling words and arts, crafts and even cooking can be taught through Baseball. If you would like to find more Baseball resources than what we have here you can search through Google or on Pinterest by typing in Baseball.
Pick out a Baseball Player your child wants to learn more about. Have them research them through books. Then answer the following questions about the player those:
1. Which player did you choose which team does he play on? Does he have a nickname?
2 Which team is he own and what is there mascot and the color of there jersey?
3.What State do they play in and list 4 facts about that State?
4. What year were they born and how old are they now? How old were they when they begin playing Baseball?
5. How many teams have they played on?
6. Have they won any awards?
Research how and when Baseball was started and how the Game has changed through the years.

Grab your parents and head outside for a quick baseball game. If you do not have

enough people to play a game just practice hitting and catching the ball.

Sign your child up for a Baseball Team
Math
Can keep track of how far you throw or hit the ball.
How many times you throw or catch the ball without dropping it.
How long did it take you to run the bases
Design a Menu of items you would sell at your Baseball Park and prices
then have your parents or friends purchase the items and practice making change.

Art
Create your own Baseball Team from the name of your team, the logo what State you play in,
what Stadium you play in and draw a complete picture and make an invitation inviting people
out to your Grand Opening.
Movies:
Chose one movie to watch and write up a Movie Review of the movie:
Include a rating for families and explain what the rating is and why you chose it.
Chose a Book below or find one your child picks out and have them answer questions you put together
about the book. Once they are done have them draw a picture of your families favorite scene from the book.
Or have them act out the book for you.

Beer for the adults

Make and decorate cookies in the shapes of Baseball Mitts, Helmets, Bats or Jerseys and decorate them with your children.
