#LetsPowerTheirDreams

A sponsored post for SheSpeaks/P&G.

Charlie and I are watching the Olympics as  I would like to help Charlie by allowing him and his friends by letting them and showing them #LetsPowerTheirDreams. I hope you will do the same with your friends and family.

I have always enjoyed the Figure Skating, and I remember watching the Olympics as a child when Dorothy Hamill skated. And how every lady wanted to have their hair cut like Dorothy’s hair.

Charlie and I discussed the Olympics and all the different games involved I was able to explain how the various States required in the Olympics. I asked Charlie what part of the Olympics he would like to watch and Charlie asked if we could watch Track & Field “.  Charlie loves to run, and he wants to find a children’s track team for his age to join.

I asked Charlie if there were other Olympic games he wanted to watch as well, and Charlie said Soccer would also be fun to watch. I let Charlie know I would enjoy watching Swimming.

Charlie said since I liked Swimming and he did as well that we should watch it first. Although I thought Charlies first pick would be Soccer as he has loved Soccer since he was two. Not only does he play Soccer but Charlie watches it on TV. But I was able to learn something new about Charlie, and I liked that. As it is always nice to learn new things about the ones we love. I asked David what games he would like to watch and he says he would like to view and he also said the Swimming meets. Charlie was excited to hear his dad wanted to watch the Swimming meets as he wants to become a better swimmer. By watching swim meets he can learn new ways to swim which we can use in our Homeschool Physical Education class.

One of the things I  like about watching The Olympic Games is that we can use these games in Homeschooling for as Reading. We can study the different techniques of the sports they athletes do and out books about each sport to use in our classroom. Also check out books on the athletes and learn more about them and how they became interested in the Olympics. We can use this information in our Language Arts class as we can do Book Reports and also in Art as we can draw some of the sports they play.

If we wanted to, we could even set up our own Olympics in our backyard and use the games the other athletes use, or  we can make up our own games. We can have a ceremony and hand out Ribbons and ask the neighborhood kids to come and join us. The parents can come and watch the games. Hosting our own olympics would get the parents involved because in our neighborhood the parents do not do much with there children and I would like to change this if possible.

As we get ready for the Olympics, we will be heading out to Walmart’s to pick up some P&G brands at Walmart to support Team USA. One of the items we will be picking up for David is a new Razor. David has asked for the Gillette® Fusion® ProShield® Razor with FlexBall™ Technology.

This morning David and I went to Walmart’s and picked up the new Razor at Walmart’s. Once we were home, David opened up Gillette® Fusion® ProShield® Razor with FlexBall™ Technology and let me know he liked how it felt in his hand.

Both David I liked how the Gillette® Fusion® ProShield® Razor with FlexBall™ Technology isn’t  as heavy as some other  Razors David has used in the past. Using the  Gillette® Fusion® ProShield® Razor with FlexBall™ Technology took less time to shave than the Razor David usually uses. The Gillette® Fusion® ProShield® Razor with FlexBall™ Technology gets a closer shave  which  left David’s  face much smoother. Both David and I liked knowing the following facts about our Gillette® Fusion® ProShield® Razor with FlexBall™ Technology:

  • Gives you lubrication BEFORE and after the blades to help shield your skin while you shave.
  • Has FlexBall Technology to give you maximum contact over your face’s contours to get virtually every hair.*
  • Provides 5 precision blades for less tug and pull*.

*Vs. Fusion razors

I would like to ask you to come and share your thoughts on this years Olympics and to make sure and use these hashtags so we can follow us:

#LetsPowerTheirDreams

As you watch the Olympics, Charlie would like to remind you to watch out for his favorite Athlete Ashton Eaton who does Track & Field Events including the Decathlon. Charlie thinks it is the coolest sport ever besides wrestling and Soccer.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
