Life Sure Isn’t Fair

Life sure isn’t fair but no, one ever said it would be. I’ve always loved Snow and would have liked to get outside and play with Charlie in the Snow in the Winter.  I wanted to make a Snowman or Snow women, children or dogs. What ever our hearts desired as this is part of making memories.

Only yesterday it was pretty cold here and it did Snow. Charlie and I was excited to see the Snow. Only I have a pretty bad cold so unfortunately I wasn’t able to get outside and play with Charlie in the snow the  way I wanted to. Which made me very sad. We don’t usually get snow here in Haltom City so when we do we need to take advantage of the Snow.

Charlie  wanted to play but David was working so there wasn’t anyone here for Charlie to play in the SNOW with. I kept waiting to hear other children outside only for what ever reason none of the children came out to play in the snow. Which wasn’t like when I was a child.

Which to me was crazy because I remember when I was a child and it would snow every child around our home always would come outside where we would play, play and play some more. The parents would join us outside. We would make Snow Ice cream which I’m sad to say I’m not sure Charlie has ever had Snow Ice Cream. Which would have been fun to make for us to try together.  Although, I know I love Snow Ice Cream. Don’t you?

What I can tell you is if we do get more Snow this year no, matter what is happening or how sick I might be I guarantee you Charlie and I will be out in the yard building snowmen and having snowball fights. Be watching this blog to see if we end up with any more snow. Because as you all know we live in Texas. Snow isn’t something we get a lot of. What we received yesterday may be all we get this year.

I just  I could talk  to my dad or brother into bringing us Snow down as they live in Oklahoma. I know that will not happen. I have a question for you If you receive Snow where you live would you mind sending Charlie and I Snow. Then we can go outside and make new memories.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
