I missed a Teaching Opportunity with Charlie

I missed a Teaching Opportunity with Charlie last week during the Election for the new President. I assumed I could just let the school teach our children what they needed to know.

Which isn’t always right and as a teacher I knew that because there aren’t enough hours in the day to teach everything our children need to learn. Also, all children learn differently and have different questions, and some children will learn faster. Unlike Charlie who struggles with reading and comprehension.

The past couple days the Election and our new President is one thing Charlie has been asking a lot of questions when I was online I found some free resources I thought you might also want to check out.

I would like to invite you to check out “5 Ways to Teach Your Kids About Election Process (+ a Free Unit Study)” from a website called Intoxicated on Life.  I have a question for you have you ever felt like you missed a “teaching opportunity” with your children? What did you do?

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
