National Apple Cider Day

Good morning, let me tell you yesterday got a little nippy here. So I am wondering what it feels like outside this morning. As I hate walking Charlie to school when it’s cold. Although I do as it gives us quality time together and we can discuss Charlie’s day and I get a extra hug and kiss.

This morning I would like to remind you Fall flavors are in full swing and November 18 marks National Apple Cider Day. Which I know David will be happy about as he loves Apple Cider Day. As for Charlie and I we prefer Hot Chocolate.

To turn up the heat, I wanted to share a quick and delicious Ginger Whiskey Cider recipe, courtesy of the NEW Brooklyn Crafted Mini Ginger Beer.

Imbibers can incorporate the Traditional Ginger Beer flavor, which perfectly complements cider and features classic notes of spice and ginger.

Recipe below!

GINGER WHISKEY CIDER

Courtesy of Brooklyn Crafted

  • 2 oz. Hard Cider
  • 1 oz. Whiskey
  • Brooklyn Crafted Ginger Beer Mini in Traditional, to fill
  • Crushed Ice

Directions

In a 12-16 oz. high ball glass, combine the hard cider and whiskey. Fill the glass with crushed ice and top with Brooklyn Crafted.

Now, before you ask no, I haven’t had the opportunity to make this new recipe for David. Although I will be able to soon as I will be receiving Brooklyn Crafted Ginger Beer in exchange for sharing this post with you.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
