I am a proud mom

I am a proud mom who has something to share with you about Charlie. Last night my family went up to the American Legion Post #655 for the Free Wrestlemania Watch party.

We arrived and walked into the room where they was hosting the WrestleMania Watch Party which had started. Charlie found a seat pretty quickly and started watching WrestleMania.

Wrestlemania went on and Charlie kept sharing facts about wrestling Charlie had learned by researching online videos, television or the Wrestling games Charlie plays.

Charlie even had adults stopping to listen to the facts he was sharing. The adults were so surprised a 9-year-old had accumulated all the knowledge and that what Charlie was sharing was correct.

As the evening progressed I finally spoke to a lady named Jackie Kobe who was sitting at the bar. I was thinking she was Don’s niece and a wrestler as well.

As soon as I asked her what her name was and if she was Don’s niece she said she was. Once Charlie looked Jackie Kobe in the face and right away Charlie recognized Jackie.

Charlie and Jackie proceeded to discuss wrestling when low and behold Jackie’s significant other who was also a wrestler started talking to Charlie and they became fast friends. I would like to thank both of Jackie and Brent McKenzie for taking the time to talk to Charlie.

As well as letting us know when and where they wrestle so we can come out to a match. Now, I would like to let you know about a dream of mine. I have always wanted to visit Scarborough Fair which hasn’t happened. Although I knew if I believed in my dreams one day I would be able to go.

I can honestly say I will be visiting it thanks to Jackie as she also works at Scarborough Fair on top of being a wrestler. Jackie has offered my family tickets to the event and also Jackie designs her own jewelry and set up at an event I hosted for the American Legion Post #655.

If you haven’t heard of Jackie and seen the wonderful jewelry  Jackie designs. I would like to invite you to check out her Facebook page which will tell you more about Jackie who dresses as a Fairy and puts children into bubbles. I wish I had known Jackie and that she did this when Les was little as it would have made the perfect Birthday present for Les.

If you ask Commander Don Kobe who is Jackie’s uncle/brother he will tell you Jackie sings beautifully and that she writes songs. Don thinks Jackie should have her work published. If you attend the American Legion Post #655 and you meet Jackie ask her to turn her writings into songs.

Here is a fun tidbit for you Don Kobe is also a retired wrestler ask him who or ask Jackie and they will tell you.

If you are lucky enough to meet Jackie at the American Legion ask Jackie to introduce you to her significant other Brent McKenzie a Professional Wrestler who goes by SuperTex. If you ask me Brent is more than super he is fantastic and I would like to let you know Brent wrestles in Bedford, Texas for Metroplex Wrestling.

Now Charlie and David have two places close to us to go and watch wrestling at. If you have been to Metroplex Wrestling let me know what you liked about Metroplex Wrestling and why. As well as what you didn’t like Metroplex Wrestling about Metroplex Wrestling and why.
