Santa’s Toy Factory

On Saturday morning Charlie and I were able to attend Santa’s Toy Factory and also the “Barbie I Can Be Anything Event” for little girls. Although if the truth is none after I saw the event they were hosting for the little girls I wanted to join in. As they were able to do Crafts and have there Faces painted. Plus, they were even given Pink Cupcake Pops.

This morning I would like to share a fun fact with you. Just don’t tell anyone Charlie says as his friends might make fun of him. Although, Charlie did attend the Barbie event and he painted a picture for us to use in our home. As well as have one of the Cake Pops the sad part was he ate it so fast that I wasn’t even able to get a bite and if I had tried I think Charlie would have bitten me.

Before we attended the Barbie Event Charlie and went to Santa’s Toy Factory and we were able to become one of Santa’s Toy Testers as we tried out Hot Wheel Race Tracks and we played with Thomas The Train items. Which when Charlie was smaller was all he wanted to play with.

While Charlie checked out those toys I walked on ahead as I wanted to check out Barbies Dream House as I never had one as a child. Nor, could I afford one when Suzzane was little. Although, now that I have nieces I might purchase Barbies Dream House to keep here for my nieces to play with when they come to visit me.

I loved all the technology they put inside the Dream House such as a place to put your Smart Phone which will allow our children to watch movies while playing with there Barbies. Or if it is bedtime they can use the restroom and really flush the toilet and turn on the lights so they can see to get into bed.

Who needs Ken when I have my very own Barbie!!

As we continued on around Santa’s Toy Workshop we were able to do a lot of interactive events including a Thomas the Train Puzzle and also pick out a car to paint. Once we were done with both items we could email the completed items to ourselves so we would have keepsakes of Santa’s Toy Workshop.

Once you walk into the exhibit make sure you grab your hat so if some of the toys end up falling you will not end up getting hit on the head and getting hurt. Because Santa doesn’t have time to take you to the Hospital as Santa and Rudolf are making there Christmas list and checking it twice.

Santa’s Toy Factory is designed to empower creativity through an interactive, immersive experience to meet Santa. Within the 1,600 square-foot space, young guests will have the opportunity to “test” new toys in Santa’s Factory before they get delivered to all the boys and girls on Christmas morning. After the children “test” the toys, they visit different stations to digitally design, build and paint toys from Mattel’s iconic brands including Barbie®, Hot Wheels®, and Thomas & Friends. The grand finale, of course, will be meeting Santa himself for photos and to share their holiday wish list.

“We are proud to be partnering with Mattel to bring this new, one-of-a-kind holiday concept to life,” said Lorie Lisius, general manager of Parks at Arlington. “We are always looking for ways to introduce new brands and experiences to our community and can’t wait to showcase Santa’s Toy Factory this holiday season. We know our guests will embrace it.”

The experience with Santa’s Toy Factory is free-of-charge and photo packages begin at $39.99. To make reservations to ensure quicker access, please click HERE. Parks at Arlington is located at 3811 South Cooper and is home to a plethora of high-quality tenants including H&M, Aveda and Dickey’s BBQ.

Charlie and I are hoping we can also attend Thomas and His Super Station and also the Hot Wheels Ultimate Garage event and we are praying we can take my nephew with us as he would love attending both events. Once there I could even get Jason and Charlies pictures with Santa. Which I never have had the opportunity to do.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
