Shrek The Musical

I have finally found a Musical which David and Charlie would have enjoyed. If only I had knew about Shrek the Musical when the play was playing not when they had finished its run in Dallas, Texas. I would have taken my family to see “Shrek The Musical Jr. in Dallas.

I would like to share something with you. When Charlie was about two a commercial for Shrek the Movie came on TV. I was in the kitchen making dinner when Charlie yells at me and says mom, dad is on TV. I had no, clue what Charlie was talking about and when I got to the front room the commercial had gone off.

I asked Charlie what he was talking about but being two he couldn’t make me understand what he meant. Until they aired the commercial laster that day. Charlie showed me the commercial and let me know David was the Donkey in Shrek. I still don’t know why Charlie felt that way but it has stuck and David is the Donkey.

Experience the most magnificent fairy tale never told “Shrek The Musical” in Dallas!

We missed seeing “Shrek The Musical in Dallas! So I thought we might do a movie night in place of the Musical. Excuse me I am off to the store to pick up Shrek for us to watch this evening. Now, I have a question for you what types of snacks do you think I should serve? During our Shrek marathon?and should I invite the children from our neighborhood? Or just let my family have a Family Movie Night? Since it’s been a while since we have had a Family Movie night?

I have a question for you who is your favorite character in the Shrek films and why? Which Shrek film is your favorite movie and why?

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
