Ultimate Blog Challenge Day 2

Good morning, Happy Monday to you and yours. As we begin a new week I would like to ask everyone to take a moment and bow there heads and to Pray. Please even if you don’t know what to Pray for or haven’t ever Prayed. Just thank the Lord for the world we live in and our families. As so many people woke up this morning not knowing if the people they loved was alive or dead. Especially in you live in Las Vegas.

This morning I would like to let you know as I blogger we meet and make friends world wide and one of my closets friends is Karren Haller and Karren she resides in Las Vegas. and when I turned on Facebook this morning and saw everyone posting my heart feel to the ground and I wanted to reach out and hug Karren.

Then I see a post from another friend Renee and I tag her to remind her Karren is there and she had already thought of that and had tried to reach her. So once again it seems we are all touched by tragedy. I am not sure what is going to happen but I can say as a nation if we all hold hands and Pray it can get better.

Now, you might ask what this has to do with the Ultimate Blog Challenge and today our prompt was to ” continue on the ‘Introduction’ theme and  let people know how you got started in your niche or market.”

For me that is easy I wanted to stay at home with my son and I needed a way to help David out with the bills so one day though Prayer and lots of taking to friends online I decided I could open a blog and share things I knew with other parents. As I had lost a child and might be able to help someone else facing the same things.

Although God had other plans for me and the blog though as I become not only a Parenting Blog but a Review/ Giveaway Blogger where I was able to review and try out items in our home. As this allowed us to check things out we wanted but might not have the money to purchase. Or to visit places we wanted to go to but couldn’t afford the tickets.

So as I get ready to take my son to school I would like to thank God for the opportunity to run this blog and to join in challenges and to make new friends as I continue to grow and add new Niches to my blog such as Homeschooling for my nieces and nephews. As well as Charlie and for being able to make money now and then to help out my husband.

So once again why did I start this blog to be able to remain at home with my son while helping out my husband who does so much for Charlie and I. All the while empowering other parents to follow there dreams and if it is there will to start there own business or blog as dreams do come true.

#blogboost

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates

  1. I did pray for those whose families don’t know if they’re alive and those who are still alive but may be in critical condition. And I hope for comfort for those who lost someone today. Nice to “meet” you. I am a homeschooling mom, too!

  2. So much violence in the world today, my heart aches for all those that lost their lives or were injured from the senseless shooting. I pray for the families and their loved ones. It’s times like this we have to hug our own extra hard.
