Weekend Events For April 12th

Charlie and I are planning our weekend events and I thought I would share the events I have found that I thought you might like to check out as well. The Weekend Events For April 12th will be a lot of fun and a lot of them are free to get into.

Main St. Fort Worth Arts Festival is one event I can’t wait to attend ever year and I’m so glad David is off on Sundays because we can spend the whole day and not be rushed.

Main St. Fort Worth Arts Festival spans more than 27 city blocks, Now, calm down you don’t have to freak out. You don’t have to walk all of the festival.

Although you should make the most of your time by heading toward the northern end by the courthouse for MAIN ST. Creates – Maker Zone, the newly revamped kids’ area that focuses on invention and innovation.

Free festival admission. Some activities require coupons.

Downtown Fort Worth

Experience nine blocks of incredible art, local and national entertainment and a beautiful Downtown. Stretching from Weatherford Street on the north to 9th Street on the south and all blocks in between, MAIN ST. serves up 18 blocks of food, fun, music and…art!

We’ll see YOU Downtown at Texas’ largest, FREE, Music and Arts festival! And don’t forget to check out the 2019 Artist’s Gallery, showcasing the 223 artists participating in this year’s show.

MUSIC CHANGE FOR FRIDAY EVENING: Jenny and the Mexicats unfortunately are unable to perform Friday evening at the Sundance Square Stage.

I wanted to let you know on Friday evening Columbian funk band Superfonicos will perform in their place. Show starts at 9:00 PM. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

I wish I could say we would be attending the Concerts because my family loves listening to new Artist but David has to get up early on Saturday morning so we will be setting the Concerts out this year.

Spring Into Nash

SATURDAY, APRIL 13, 10AM–2 PM

Spring is the perfect time to bring the entire family to Grapevine’s Historic Nash Farm. Experience what life was like when the city’s earliest settlers made their home in Grapevine.

Activities at the 18th annual Spring Into Nash include heritage toys, kitchen gardening, cotton planting, farm animals, tractor-drawn wagon rides, field cultivation, wood carving demonstrations, jump rope making, wood-burning stove cooking demonstrations and blacksmith demonstrations.

Hot Wheels Legends Tour

SATURDAY, APRIL 13, 8 AM–NOON

Hot Wheels is hitting the road once again with the nationwide traveling car show in search of a custom car worthy of becoming a Hot Wheels die-cast car.

One finalist from each of the 18 cities will join SEMA 2019 in Las Vegas, where one lucky winner will be immortalized as a Hot Wheels Legend and get made into a die-cast car sold around the world.
