
I would like to invite you to our new challenge beginning on January 1st which is our Walking & Water Challenge with our friends and family. In the challenge we just ask you to walk 30 minutes a day and drink more water.
I don’t know about you, but I need to do both of these. I’m PRAYING and believing if my friends walk with me, I will stay on track and drink the water I need to as well. They say we should drink at least half of our weight in water.
For me that means I would need to drink 125 ounces of water which is 8 bottles of water which would put me over my goal for the day which is okay because if I miss water one day this would help me make up what I missed.
As for walking 30 minutes a day I wanted to make the challenge something everyone would be able to do easily. Just walking around daily you will have 30 minutes in without even thinking about it. As for me I want to do 30 minutes outside and then make sure I always have my Fitbit or phone on me to track the other steps I get in just from working in my home.
I bet you more times than not I will be able to top the 5,000 steps I would like to get daily. Before I know it I will top the 10,000 steps I actually want because in the evenings I’m going to see if David or Charlie will walk with me.
In the morning, I plan on taking Pheobie and walking around the complex at Appian Way Townhomes at least once or until I reach 1,000 steps every morning which will help me accomplish the goals, I set for myself.
