Homeschool Resources Frogs

As we move forward with our Homeschool choices, I see God opening more and more doors. And the doors that are opening leads to things Charlie likes or enjoys like Frogs. Like this morning when I was on Facebook, and a notice popped up that there was a new post in one of the Homeschool groups. Even though I was rushing to get out the door to get Charlie to Soccer, I stopped and took a  look. I am so happy I did as it was about Frogs. Which leads me to this new Homeschool Resource Frogs.

I would like to share something about Charlie and Frogs with you. One day we were walking home from my mother in laws. Charlie found a Frog in the street and no, matter how much I begged Charlie not to pick up the frog he did and not only that he insisted on bringing it home with us.

Which was fine as I thought he would let it go once we got into the yard but he didn’t he actually brought it inside as he was afraid it would get hurt. Then he ended up putting it in our Shower to sleep overnight and said he would take it out the next day when the Frog would be able to see where he lived and that is what he did.

The hard part was explaining to David to not open the shower and he wouldn’t be able to take a shower until the next morning as there was a frog in the shower. Let me tell you he was mad and upset and laughing so hard he was crying. But he let it stay as he knew how important it was to Charlie that the Frog not get hurt.

Today I wanted to share a new Homeschool class we will be taking and it is all about Frogs and it is on a site called The Jenny Evolution. What I like about this class is that it comes with a list of books about Frogs and worksheets we can do as we read the books.

The Jenny Evolution differs from other homeschool resources I have used in the past as The Jenny Evolution contacted a group of homeschool bloggers to contribute items to the class. I like that a lot as it has given me a chance to check out other bloggers and to see what all they do. I hope you take the time to check out The Jenny Evolution and the article she has put together for us called Children’s Books Featuring Frogs.

I would like to remind you that Children’s Books Featuring Frogs would fit in perfectly with Stop! Drop! & Read! Come and sign up for my challenge and check out Amazon for some books for Frogs and join us as we begin our new lessons in June.

Since I shared with you what we are dealing with as we move forward with our Homeschool choices, I would like to know what you have been worried about or wanting to add and why you haven’t?

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie, and David Cates
