Spring a wonderful time for garden adventures

Spring is a wonderful time for garden adventures and I thought I would share this post with you from Little Passports. I’m always looking for new books for Charlie to read. and I thought you might like to check there suggestions out as well.

Spring is a wonderful time for garden adventures, both in the backyard and in books. Little Passports asked blogger and child education expert, Deb Chitwood, to create a reading list of great garden books for ages 3-5 and another for ages 6-10. Venture outside with your little explorers and enjoy some or all of her                                                              Spring Reading List: Garden Adventures around the World!

I would like to ask you what is your child’s favorite Spring Book and which  books containing gardens do you and your children like to read? Which books do you use in your classroom and which class do you teach with these classes. Why do you use these books?

What types of Spring project do you have for Homeschool this year? Have you ever made a Garden and used it as part of your Homeschool classes? If so how did you incorporate the Garden into teaching your children?  I think Charlie might enjoy a Garden but I’m not sure where to start with a Garden or how to include Gardening in his schooling.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
