I love all kinds of Potato’s and I can’t wait to celebrate today which is August 12th because were celebrating another #Holiday celebrating National Julienne Fries Day #JulienneFriesDay. For my family this was a teaching moment as I had to look up what Julienne Fries were to make in our home.
If your children are wanting to learn to cook you could start teaching this evening by teaching them to make Julienne Fries. With Back to School Season upon us why not adding a cooking class to your Curriculum and begin your cooking class by reaching your family to make Julienne Fries and there own Dipping Sauces?
Julienne Fries are French Fries cut into thin matchstick strips before frying the Fries giving them a crisper lighter alternative to Steak Fries. Did you know Julienne Fries are sometimes referred to as Shoestring Fries?
Do you like Julienne Fries? With a Seasoning or without? Do you dip your Julienne Fries or not? If so what is your favorite dipping Sauce and why? David and I like Ketchup and so does Charlie but sometimes Charlie uses Ranch. Have you used Ranch?
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
