I was working on the blog this morning while working on the post I needed to finish I went through drafts. I came across this picture of Aiden and Charlie. I sat her and looked at the boys and all the things we’ve done with them. Or all the things Tammy has taken the boys to do. It is with a sad heart that I have to talk to Tammy this week. I have to let Tammy know Charlie has decided he doesn’t want to be around Aiden anymore.
Charlie and Aiden were more like brothers than friends but Aiden sided with the other kids in the neighborhood and these kids were calling Charlie “GAY’ and making fun of him. Charlie asked them all to stop and they wouldn’t. This brought up all the negative feelings I’ve worked to erase in Charlies mind. Because this is what lead to him wanting to kill himself a couple years ago. Before you say “kids will be kids” and leave it alone they will be friends tomorrow.
I can’t take the chance as Charlie has tried to kill himself one time and if I leave it alone he could try again and what if he succeeds? Or I don’t say anything and they keep it up and the kids in school pick up on it? It would cause Charlie not want to go to school.
David and I’ve worked so hard this past year to teach Charlie school is a safe place. Even though I love Aiden like a son if he is going to do things like this I have to cut him out of our lives. Please PRAY for our family as we navigate this new life.
Please “PRAY” for Aiden and Tammy because if she feels like my family does Charlie is her son and losing a child for any reason hurts. Also PRAY for IAN Aiden’s big brother who treats Charlie like a little brother because I know he will miss Charlie as well
Not having Aiden’s family in our lives will also affect David and I . Were not only friends but family and bringing Aiden with us to event has been a bit part of the Mommies Reviews and our lives, Tammy is a single mom and the places we’ve taken Aiden to has helped Tammy.
There is times as a sing mom Tamy doesn’t have money to do thing with Aiden but we’ve been able to not only take Aiden but Ian and even Tammy at times she isn’t able to take him to. We’ve even piked up Aiden up from school when Tammy can’t get off. David is a father figure to Aiden because Aiden’s own dad is in and out of the picture.
Once again Please Pray for us as I place this in “GODS” hand. I would hate for Charlie to lose the best friend he has ever had. I know if its the LORDS will the boys will work things out and continue there friendship but if they can’t then that was the LORDS will.
