I am excited to share another children’s book with your which you will find inside our Christmas Gift Guide 2025: The ABCs of Women’s History (The ABCs of History) by Rio Cortez (Author), Illustrated by Lauren Semmer (Artist).

I wish I had known about The ABCs of Women’s History (The ABCs of History) when I was #Homeschooling Charlie because this book would have made a wonderful addition to our Homeschool History Class and also for reading fun. I sat down last night and called Charlie and read The ABCs of Women’s History (The ABCs of History) to Charlie and Mikalya.

Mikalya can’t wait to share this book with her cousin Emmy. We loved how the Author used the ABC’s to teach us about History. I love the quote “I am not enough, I am plenty” a quote we all need to print out to read everyday,

The Author mentions Joan Didion a #teachingmoment for my family because we hadn’t heard of her. Have you? Charlie loved heating Maya Angelou and Selna mentioned in the book. David liked how the Author shared the Civil Rights with us.

I liked hearing about the Freedom Fighters. There is so much to learn inside The ABCs of Women’s History (The ABCs of History) both for adults and children that this book should be in every home and classroom as well as Public and Private Libraries.

I like how the Author included in the back of the book The ABC’s of Women’s History: Terms and Figures to keep the learning going even after the book has been finished. if you have children on your Christmas Shopping List or your taking to Santa please make sure you and Santa pick up copies of The ABCs of Women’s History (The ABCs of History) for all the children in your lives and anyone you know who is Homeschooling or taking a History Class.
