Summer is out. The children in our Apartment Complex are getting restless and all we hear is I’m bored. Which means my nieces and nephews may be getting bored as well. I can’t wait to share our new addition to Christmas In July Guide: #UpsideDownChallenge Game Backyard Edition.
I had #UpsideDownChallenge Game Backyard Edition sitting on my desk and Charlie’s friend Bradley asked if he could have the game for his brothers. Before I could even answer B Charlie said no, this is for me and my mom to play.
Having a teenager say he wants to do anything with his parents is a miracle. Isn’t it? I asked Charlie why he wanted to play #UpsideDownChallenge Game Backyard Edition . Charlie said this #game will get us out of our chairs and allow us to get exercise I’ve been struggling to get.
Charlie and I put the glasses on this morning. Then we tried to do the task upside down. Let me tell you more times that not we messed up. Leading to lots and lots of laughs. We picked out a couple challenges including “jumping through the rings” for David to do.
David had trouble jumping back and forth but he did give it the college try and no, I’m not going to tell you which of us was better because you need to play #UpsideDownChallenge Game Backyard Edition with us soon.
#UpsideDownChallenge Game Backyard Edition is for children aged 8+ but my niece Daisy is 6 and with her parents help she was able to do some of the task and play the game with us. I liked being able to have up to 6 people play at a time. You could set up teams or play on your own.
David and Charlie get frustrated when it comes to reading because they struggle but both Charlie and David were able to read the cards mostly on there own. They liked finding out everything we needed to play comes in the box we can use to keep the game safe until we play again.
About:
#UpsideDownChallenge Game Backyard Edition (MSRP $29.99 | Ages 8+ | Available on Amazon): This Summer, game night is about to be flipped upside down! Players attempt to complete seemingly easy activities such as tossing a ball into a cup, stacking cups into a pyramid and even just walking through an obstacle course made out of rings while wearing googles that flip your vision upside down. Fantastic for game night, backyard barbecues and picnics that will create hours of laughter and entertainment.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
