I wanted to let all the #cooks know that June 10th was National Herbs and Spices Day #HerbsAndSpicesDay. Grab the children and bring them into the kitchen and share your favorite Herbs and Spice with them while preparing dinner this evening.
Or take your children to Home Depot or Lowes and purchase Herbs and let your children start there own Herb Garden. When Charlie was #Homeschooling in the past we had both a Pizza Garden and a Salad Garden and we planted Orgaino, Tomatoes and things we could use on our Pizza and in our Salad.
Living in our Townhome we’ve been blessed with a front porch, back porch with a window leading into the kitchen and a upstairs balcony. Plenty of places to start a herb Garden. Would you want to help Charlie and I set up a Herbe Garden this weekend?
I found Sprouting Wisdom: Herb Gardening Made Simple: How to Grow, Harvest, Preserve, & Cook with Herbs to help us get started and its going to get reading in for Charlie which he doesn’t do enough of.
