I was settling down to work this morning when the phone rang. I answered it and it was David’s mom Granny Sherry asking if Charlie was awake. Of course he wasn’t. Before we hung up the phone Sherry let me know she needed David or Charlie for a honey-do job.
I told Charlie we missed sharing a #Holiday that fell on June 25th which was National Strawberry Parfait Day #NationalStrawberryParfaitDay. Since we didn’t do much for Fathers Day Charlie and I have been thinking about getting the ingredients to make Strawberry Parfaits for David.
Charlie said we should get enough ingredients for David and his dad this evening and make the #StrawberryParfaits at his parents house. Which means we need to make one for Uncle Mike as well. No, before you ask Sherry can’t have any desserts at all because of her Diabetes.
Charlie and I don’t like Strawberries so were going to pass on a Strawberry Parfait and we will get us come Cookies and come home and have Cookies and Milk. Would you want to join us this evening and if you don’t want Cookies and Milk we can make you a Strawberry Parfait.
