June 5th was National Veggie Burger Day #VeggieBurgerDay. I don’t think I will ever eat a #VeggieBurger and I can tell you I know David wouldn’t either. As for Charlie who knows what that child will or will not do as he gets older.
My sister had to go Gluten-Free because of her Thyroid and a problem called Hashimoto’s. This makes having my sister over for dinner or going out for lunch together hard. June 5th is National Veggie Burger Day is this a Burger my sister could eat? If so have you had a Veggie Burger?
Do you have a recipe for a Veggie Burger or is there a Veggie Burger at the Grocery Store you like that you think my sister should try and why? What sides would you suggest for the Veggie Burger because my sister isn’t to crazy about Sweet Potato Fries which my family doesn’t eat. Do you?
I did find this cookbook The Best Veggie Burgers on the Planet, revised and updated: More than 100 Plant-Based Recipes for Vegan Burgers, Fries, and More by Joni Marie Newman. I might get this cookbook then I would have a recipe I can make for her. Would you want to join us for dinner?

Meet the Author:
Joni Marie Newman

Joni is just a regular gal who loves to cook…ESPECIALLY for friends and family. Self taught, and always learning, she spends most of her spare time in the kitchen.
When she is not in the kitchen, she really enjoys knitting, painting, wasting endless hours on the internet (reading the comments), walking with her husband and the little old lady, traveling, reading, swimming, and most of the other stuff regular gals enjoy.
A California native, she is currently residing in North Long Beach, with her four-leggedlove, Annie, and her extremely delicious husband, Dan.
It is in this home that she creates delicious and animal-free delicacies for the world to enjoy. Through her food, she hopes to help people to understand that it is not necessary to murder or torture another living creature in order to have a tasty supper.
