I got stopped by the Kitten on the front of the book with the Christmas hat on his head. I loved the Snowflakes and wish we had some here although its Summer not Winter. It’s neat how the Author has the Cats eyes set back in the book and you can see right through them.
Touching the Cats eyes was neat but also a little creepy. You should see the Scarf the Cat has on which is red and gold like a Christmas present. Once you open the book up your going to meet a group of groggily eyed guests and jokes that are full of Holiday surprises.
The first Knock Knock joke was about “freeze” which had me singing the joke out loud because it reminded me of a song I had heard. Next we get to pretend to be Santa. Do you have your costume ready?
Then we get to discuss wrapping gifts through a Elf joke David liked a lot. I hope you take the time to read and share Knock Knock: Merry Christmas!: A Googly-Eyed Joke Book a picture book for little children but adults will laugh at the jokes as well with everyone you know.

Rob Hodgson
Rob Hodgson was born in a Seaside Town in the South of England in 1988. He currently lives in Bristol where he spends his days making a mess and turning it into illustration projects and books. He cites Yoko Ono, Ed Templeton and Arthur Russell among his influences.
Working with traditional processes and lo-fi techniques such as block printing, paper cutting and wood cut, Rob combines old and new ideas to create his work. Some interests include Animals, skateboards, the psychology of perception and collecting strange toys
