I wanted to share a new addition to our Summer Gift Guide 25: Learning With Kelsey who sent me one of there kits in exchange for this review. I would have shared one of the #Crafts but I wanted to wait until I see my nieces and nephews to work on this with.
Even though Summer is here learning shouldn’t come to a end. Some parents #Homeschool year round. When Charlie was in public school we did take the Summer off but Charlie had to read during the Summer and spend 30 minutes a day learning something before getting on the computer or games system.
I wish we had known about Learning with Kelsey back then because its a craft kit and everything we need is included in the box we could have taken to the Park. Once we finished what was inside the box we would go to learningwithkelsey.com for more activities to prolong the learning and fun.
In my kit is different colored pieces of construction paper including blue, red and orange, Everything comes in a bag and broken down into smaller ziplock bags. Including a rubber band, Popsicle Sticks, pom poms of all colors including red and purple mine and Charlie’s favorite color.
Paint in blue and orange. Paperclips that were green and bigger than the paper clips I use in my office. A black ballon. Q Tips. In the next bags was a square paint brush, cotton balls, green tape, small popsicle sticks, a dice, glue stick, another paint brush that is pink and round. Goggleye Eyes and a bag of sand or rocks ie small beads in a pink color that will need to be contained in a bowl so they don’t end up on the floor for pets to get ahold of. As well as part of a paper plate. Dots in all colors.
A letter from learningwithkelsey.com explaining this is a subscription box company dedicated to helping parents create meaningful learning experiences at home for young children. Kelsey is a certified teacher and a mom of 4.
The boxes are create for toddlers through kindergarten. The company came about from the Pandemic. Having these boxes helps children build there fine motor skills, preschool and kindergarten readiness. Having thsi box will allow parents and children to bond together through arts and crafts and without electronics as its hands-on-learning.
I received the May Preschool Box and in the box is preschool plans for us to use for 5 days. At the bottom of the list is the additional supplies you will need. The next page is May Preschool and on this page is the activity, supplies we will need, why we are doing what were doing and how to do it.
The next page shows us the items we will be doing from a yam to a wave like a leaf in the Wind which could lead to a walk in the neighborhood to find leaves waving in the wind. Would you want to come with us?
A page to trach the Letter were learning which for us was Y. Then a page with Flowers and lines at the top of the page to write a title on. Another flower page with numbers that tells us how to color the flower. Then the packet moves to the next letter z. Giving you a month full of work to work on with your children.
When on the website sign up for texts for saving on the boxes. If you always have the supplies then you can purchase printable lessons. Make sure you check out there blog and there affiliate program as a way to earn extra money while sharing these amazing kits.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
