March 6th was National Frozen Food Day #NationalFrozenFoodDay and I had thought of purchasing Frozen Pizza’s for dinner that night then we wouldn’t have had to make a full meal and we could have watched movies.

The LORD had other plans for us from the Storm that happened in our City and my sister was here. David made us dinner and we will celebrate National Frozen Food Day this weekend with a selection of our favorite foods while we watch TV and play games. Would you want to join us?

Were going to get Mozzarella Cheese Sticks for all of us. Buffalo Wings for David and Charlie. With Potato Skins for me. Along with Frozen Pizza. For Dessert Ice Cream for Charlie, Frozen Cheesecake for David and I’ve going to get myself a Pepperidge Farm Cake. Would you like a slice?

On March 6th, people celebrate subzero sustenance with National Frozen Food Day. National Frozen Food Day was established by President Ronald Reagan in 1984 with Proclamation #5157: “Now, Therefore, I, Ronald Reagan, President of the United States of America, do hereby proclaim March 6th, 1984, as Frozen Food Day,.

I call upon the American people to observe such a day with appropriate ceremonies and activities. ” So, get thee to the frozen food aisle and stock up your freezers to celebrate National Frozen Food Day — the President demands it!

National Frozen Food Day Activities

  1. Today we should appreciate the diversity of the frozen food industry by enjoying frozen food for every meal on National Frozen Food Day. Start the day with frozen Pancakes or a Waffle, try a frozen Burrito or Pizza for lunch, chow down on a TV Donner for dinner and yes there is healthy TV Dinners you just need to look., For dessert, enjoy a delicious bowl of Ice Cream. To make the Ice Cream more tasty pick up a Frozen Pie or Cake.
  2. Have a TV dinner party use plastic trays filled with a complete meal with a main and sides made for eating in front of the televisions which are the quintessential American frozen food.
  3. Invite your friends over for a dinner party where TV dinners are the order of the day and purchase a variety of TV Dinners and have friends pick and choose which dinner they want to try.
  4. Did you know on National Frozen Food Day which was established in support of the frozen food industry, you can also celebrate the wonder of the freezer by making your own frozen food! Prepare a big pot of Stew or Soup and freeze individual portions, or get elaborate and make your own TV dinners. For me I do that more than you know with the Leftovers I keep for the next day’s lunch but I could always freeze the food instead of eating it right away and you could do the same.

Why People Love National Frozen Food Day

Ig you were to ask people they would say Ice Cream is one of the most delicious foods in the world, and thanks to the wonders of the frozen food industry, we can have Ice Cream in our homes at all times. Ice Cream can be found in pints, Ice Cream Bars, Ice Cream Sandwiches which is all frozen, and it’s all available in the frozen food aisle.

Today we should take the opportunity to thanks to the frozen food companies, because we never have to have to cook! We can keep all kinds of meals in our freezers that would be ready to go with just a few minutes in the microwave. Whether we are in the mood for Indian Curry, Thai Noodles, or an old-fashioned Pot Pie, it’s a quick trip from the frozen food aisle to our stomachs.

Lots of people love Vegetables (I promise!) but it feels like we are always throwing out produce that has gone bad before we have a chance to use it. With bags of frozen Kale and Spinach in the freezer, we can always get our greens . Even if we haven’t been to the Grocery Store in weeks!
