Murder at the Golden Homestead: A Completely Unputdownable Page Turning and Addictive Cozy Mystery (An Ivy Schaeffer Cozy Mystery)

Adult Book Recomendations

I thought I would share a new book called Murder at the Golden Homestead: A Completely Unputdownable Page Turning and Addictive Cozy Mystery by Angie Frost (An Ivy Schaeffer Cozy Mystery). This was a free arc. Inside this post is my affiliate links. If you click on the links and make a purchase, I will make a small percentage from the products, you purchase.

I finished Murder at the Golden Homestead: A Completely Unputdownable Page Turning and Addictive Cozy Mystery in the blink of an eye although throughout the book was a lot of suspense and drama. At times I got confused on the murder, but this mad the story even more interested.

I liked how the story takes plan in a Retirement Home but hated knowing it takes place on an anniversary. Having more than one detective makes things dicey at times. I enjoyed getting to know Ivy’s friend and would love having her Cat.

 About the book:

A Retirement Home Anniversary Turns Lethal…

Event planner Ivy Schaeffer has orchestrated galas, festivals, and political soirées—but nothing could prepare her for the storm brewing at The Golden Homestead, where a beloved yet controversial resident, Dorothy, is found dead under suspicious circumstances.

The local detective wants Ivy to stay out of it. Her detective boyfriend has other ideas—and enlists her to sniff out the truth.

With her quick-witted partner, Phyllis, and her ever-observant feline sidekick, Fable, Ivy wades into a tangle of whispered grudges, bitter rivalries, and long-simmering resentments.

Could the killer be Caitlyn, the manager who tried—and failed—to evict Dorothy? A nurse who swore she made their job impossible? Or a shadowy visitor with secrets of their own?

When Ivy uncovers a chilling clue—a telltale needle mark—she realizes this was no accident. The murder was meticulously planned… and the killer is closer than anyone suspects. If she doesn’t catch them soon, someone else will be next—and this time, it could be someone Ivy loves.
