Parental Control: A Guide to Raising Balanced Kids in the Digital Era by Titania Jordan (Author, Narrator), Tantor Media (Publisher)

I never thought I would be one of those parents who allows there child to be on a Gane-System 24/7 but I’ve done that with Charlie because we had Covid-19 and the world shut down. There wasn’t anything else for Charlie to do.

Fast forward to today and Charlie is trying to start a Streaming Company and he believes he will make money from it. I’m to the point its time to throw in the towel and for Charlie to find a job. Even if its only one or two days a week.

Charlie will be 18 at Christmas so he is more a man than a child but I fill like Charlie has wasted the last 2 years of his life. I can’t say anything because I’m always online as well with my work but I do have a business and I do get out of the house Charlie doesn’t.

I sat down this morning to read Parental Control: A Guide to Raising Balanced Kids in the Digital Era and I found steps to not only help Charlie become motivated and to get off the Electronics but ways to help me as well as David who comes home and hides behind his phone.

I love how the Author has included step by step directions on what we need to do including talking to other parents which I don’t do. I stay hidden inside my house which is showing Charlie its okay to do the same thing which it isn’t ok.

In the back of the book is additional resources for us to use to et our children back. I hope you take the time to check out Parental Control: A Guide to Raising Balanced Kids in the Digital Era and that you share this book with everyone you know.
