In this parenting book called Parenting Teenage Boys: 10 Key Topics to Discuss with Your Teenage Son in Today’s World the Author discusses 10 topics to discuss with our son in today’s world including grades and peer pressure as well as sex ed.

As a mom it isn’t easy to talk to a boy about sex and even though David knew he needed to he has buried his head in the Sand and hasn’t talked to Charlie at all which worries me. Although, Charlie’s grandfather did talk to Charlie some. Also children can learn anything they want online or through there friends who may not always have the right information.

Charlie has begun dating and he has a steady girlfriend thank the LORD she is was in Hobart, Oklahoma. We don’t have to worry about them seeing each other much because they are pretty far apart. Girls are not like I was when I was growing up.

Girls today will talk about sex like it’s nothing. Charlie’s last girl friend or lady friend even had Charlie ask me if she could do something to Charlie and if she could spend the night. That was a huge red flag for me.

Mia was only 15 and asking these questions all I have to say is where is her parents. Finally David decided he needed to talk to Charlie it was to late David’s dad did and Charlie said he had learned all he needed to know from the Internet.

LORD help us because I’m not sure what Charlie learned or didn’t learn and if its true. I believe David still needs to talk to Charlie. I’m not sure David will I will be using Parenting Teenage Boys: 10 Key Topics to Discuss with Your Teenage Son in Today’s World and have the talk with Charlie myself.

If we were still Homeschooling I would have used Parenting Teenage Boys: 10 Key Topics to Discuss with Your Teenage Son in Today’s World in our Homeschool Home Economics Health Class. If your the parent of a boy you need to pick up a copy of Parenting Teenage Boys as soon as possible and don’t forget to also pick up How To Deal With An Angry Teenager because teenagers can be so rude and angry and not even know as the book says that there being A…holes

The Author also discusses teenage depression I believe Charlie suffers from and not having insurance I can’t take Charlie to the doctor or counselor like I need to. There is a chapter on bonding with our teenagers and the older and more independent Charlie becomes this was something I defiantly needed to read and so will you. I liked how the Author uses the book to share exercises for us to do as a family. Charlie and I will be starting on them this morning.

About the book:

It is no secret that parenting teenage boys is incredibly challenging at times. Sure, it can also be rewarding, but sometimes you can feel like you are banging your head against a brick wall. Despite how complex and sensitive this topic is, there is a disappointing lack of information available for parents to use to parent their teenage boy .Until now
