Adult Book Recomendations

I thought I would share a new book with you called Running Free by Ami Cullen. I received a copy of the book in exchange for this review. Inside this post is my affiliate links. If you click on the links and make a purchase I will make a small percentage off the items you purchase.

I choose to read Running Free because of the beautiful Horses on the front of the cover. I sat down to read the book and I was surprised find out the main character was a Lawyer in the East Coast to an outstanding Director of Equestrian Operations at an upscale C Lazy U Dude Ranch in Colorado. I enjoyed seeing all the ups and downs along the way.

Throughout Running Free is filled with suspense, joy, tears and redemption. Once Charlie and David sat down to read Running Free with me we all said the story we reminded us how connected in life people are with Mother Nature and ourselves.

If you like a daring book that will push you to your limits then you will want to read Running Free and exploring the true life story of a woman, and a friend, who dared to be powerful and scared, to be fully in life rather than running away. We see how she learns to trust herself, her husband, and the ranch team, and everyone who came to help – literally in a moment’s notice.

Throughout the story which reminded me of the Old West and the Cowboys including John Wayne and Willie Nelson I would find myself nodding saying I need to share Running Free with my dad who isn’t here.

David’s dad is and I plan on sharing the novel with his parents and his brother Mike. I also hope you take the time to check out Running Free and that you take the time to share this book with everyone you know. Every Horse Farm and Ranch should have a copy of the book on hand to share with there guests.

About the book:

Never rich enough. Never connected enough. Never feeling like she fit in. That’s how Emme felt when it came to the incredible wealth and privilege of the hunter/jumper world. But she loved the Horses.

So, for a time, she tried to compete — graduating law school and passing the bar exam, traveling in the “right” social circles, and getting engaged to the entitled son of the CEO of one of the fastest-growing hedge fund companies. For a time, the façade worked . . . until she couldn’t pretend that this was the life she wanted. It was time to make a change. A major change.

Not in her wildest imagination did she think she would become the Equestrian Director and Head Wrangler at a dude ranch, responsible for the care and safety of 200 horses. Nor did she imagine she’d be the one to save those horses from a terrible Wildfire.

But she did, all while learning important lessons about trust, love, leadership, and life itself. While friends and family accused her of running away, Emme knew the truth: she was running free for the first time ever – because sometimes leaving everything behind is the only way to get what you really want out of life.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
