There were several reasons I wanted to read Spiced to Death: A Texas Hill Country Cozy Mystery from the Cat on the cover of the book to the plot taking place in the Texas Hill Country which I’ve always wanted to visit.
Tilly owns her own business a needlepoint shop I wish I could have taken my mother n law Sherry to look at. I also love there is a Food Festival which David and I always love checking out. Then there is a death and mystery to keep us on the edge of our seats as we read the story.
Tilly has finally settled into her needlepoint shop; and she’s becoming more accepted into the small Texas town. Now she has a best friend, Sarah, who helps her by designing canvases for her to sell at her needlepoint shop.
Then there is Stitches, her cat. Before the Hill Country Food Festival, a local Chef is murdered and when suspicion falls on Sarah, Tilly gets involved.
