The Comfort Cub Therapeutic Teddy Bears

Health, Beauty and Medical

I wanted to share a weighted therapeutic comfort cub with you this morning. These Teddy Bears are not toys they’re part of the Comfort Cub. The Teddy Bears are Therapeutic weighted Teddy Bears to help adults cope with the loss of a child. I received The Comfort Cub Therapeutic Teddy Bear in exchange for this review.

As a parent as soon as I was approached by The Comfort Cub I knew it was a Godwink as Oprah Winfrey would say. I believe with all my heart and soul Oprah Winfrey needs to learn about The Comfort Cubs Therapeutic Teddy Bears to add to her must have wish list for people experiencing a loss of any kind.

I know I’ve told my daughter’s story to anyone who would listen to me. If you haven’t heard it. I lost my daughter Suzzane to a car accident when she was only 16 in 2004. People tell me all the time it’s been long enough to move on you shouldn’t be grieving. My question is how does a parent come to terms with burying there child?

Then you add to the death of both my parents and my best friend who was more like my brother and now, his brother has Cancer and could pass away at anytime. Grief comes in waves and not always when its not expected.

You can be watching a movie and a memory of your loved one pops up and the tears flow. Or be in a store and walk by something they would have liked and here come the tears. People look or sometime gawk at you and never ask if your okay they just walk away. If I was asked if I saw someone crying in a store what would I do

I can’t say but I might walk away as well. Although, I wish I would have the courage to ask if they need anything or hand them a napkin. because this is what my daughter would have wanted me to do. I hope and PRAY Charlie would ask them if they need anything to.

I couldn’t wait to share The Comfort Cub Therapeutic Teddy Bears with you because they were created by a mom who wanted to share a little extra love and give you a hug. Which more times than not I need. How about you?

These Therapeutic Teddy Bears are weighted like I mentioned earlier making them heavy but that’s because they are filled with love. The Therapeutic Teddy Bear is brown and furry and so soft. Boys and girls as well as adults will fall in love with your Teddy Bear. I love the light blue ribbon around his neck.

I keep my Teddy Bear propped up on my desk to share with everyone who enters our home. There has been days when I’ve missed my daughter so much I’ve slept with my Therapeutic Teddy Bear who I’ve named Sam in memory of my daughter’s Dog.

Charlie has been missing his girlfriend Mikaylia who lives out of town a lot this month. Charlie took my Therapeutic Teddy Bear up to his room. Once Mikaylia saw our Therapeutic Teddy Bear sitting on Charlie’s bed she asked her parents to get her one because her mom is very sick and could pass away at any time.

Mikaylia is going to name her Therapeutic Teddy Bear Charlie for my son even though he hasn’t passed away these Teddy Bears can keep our loved ones who live far away or are in the Military close at hand. I wish all schools had the Teddy Bears in there Counselors and Principals offices as well as Firemen and Policemen in there cars to comfort children and even adults.

I would like to ask you to visit Comfort Cub to learn more about the Therapeutic Teddy Bears and for you to share your story or donate to someone in need like any children’s hospitals in your area. Or Nursing Homes or Retirment Centers.

About:

Life is funny in a way but also sad and the Author’s story she shares here with us is in no, way funny. What is funny is was it’s a another sign from God or a Godwink. The Authors son was named George which was my all-time favorite name growing up. Like me after the loss of her son she felt like she had a “BROKEN HEART”. Please take the time to read her story here:

What is a Comfort Cub?

  • A Comfort Cub is a therapeutic weighted (4 pounds) teddy bear.

The Cubs are not customizable, we do not alter the weight of the Cub.

The outside of the Cub is made of a soft furry fabric.

The inside is filled with weighted pea-sized beads which provide healing through deep touch pressure.

A gender-neutral color bow is tied around the Cub’s neck. In addition, there is a removable card that comes tied around the neck of the Cub.

The weighted Comfort Cub provides healing comfort in the arms of a person experiencing what is none as the Broken Heart Syndrome and what her family dealt with which was Takotsubo Syndrome
