David and I were running errands yesterday and we stopped for lunch at The Corner Cafe a restaurant we hadn’t had the opportunity to try before. We pulled into the Strip Shopping Center they are in. There was parking in the front of the restaurant and the side of the building.
Walking inside is a waiting area with a bench I was able to sit down on when David paid our bill. I loved how open the restaurant was. Everything was clean and bright. All the staff was very friendly. Throughout the room was signs with there Desserts and Appetizers on the Board.
The Corner Cafe offers us Breakfast and Lunch. I loved all the Daily Specials and if I could I would go back and eat everyday because they had so many lunches I wanted to try. Including the Enchilada Casserole. I also like that they offer different Vegetables everday.
David and I both decided to have lunch I chose Meatloaf, Mashed Potato’s with Cream Gravy and a Salad with Ranch Dressing which came with a Roll. I enjoyed the Meatloaf which didn’t come with Tomato Sauce but more like Bar B Que Sauce.
I wouldn’t mind ordering it in the future because there was enough for me to bring home for a Meatloaf Sandwich for Dinner. The Mashed Potato’s were so good. They were real Potatoes with lumps in them. I love them.
The Cream Gravy wasn’t to thick or to thin. It had the just amount of Flavor and worked perfectly on my Roll and also my Mashed Potato’s. The Salad is just Lettuce and Croutons which was fine with me. I liked the Ranch a lot. I just wish they would have brought my Salad out before our Main Meal was served not with the Meal. Because by the time I finished my Salad the rest of my food was getting cold.
David ordered a Hamburger with Mustard and Mayo and asked for a Second Patty so he would have a Double Meat Hamburger. David decided after seeing his Hamburger that one Patty would have been enough because it was a huge Burger.
The Meat was real Meat and formed and cooked to order. The Vegetables was fresh. The Hamburger had just the right amount of Mustard and Mayo. The Fries were thick cut Homemade Fries and so tasty. I could have eater a plate of them with Gravy or Ketchup and been a Happy Camper.
David and I can’t wait to come back to The Corner Cafe and bring our friends and family with us. I hope you take the time to visit them as well. Before you ask what did Charlie eat he wasn’t with us so we brought him Cannes home.
