In Tuttle Twins and the Fate Of The Future we meet Mrs. Wakinona who made Mandazi for them. The dish was from Uganda a Country we should have studied when #Homeschooling but it’s never to late to learn and now we have a new dish to try.

We could have discussed different Cultures. In this story we learn Fred has a book club where everyone takes a turn choosing a theme for the month and organizing a activity. Arron choose Uganda a Country in Africa where his mom grew up. His theme was “People of the World”.

The other children wore clothes from the Countries they choose. At the next book club meeting it was the Tuttle Twins turn to choose. They couldn’t decide what to choose. That night they have a movie night and Mr. Tuttle choose a “dystopian” movie. A #teachingmoment” for my family.

You should check out what “dystopian fiction” is. The Tuttle Twins let there parents know they wanted to share the future at the book club meeting. They go to Fred’s house to look for a book to read. Fred chooses Murray Rothbard’s book “Anatomy of The State“.

This was a book my family hadn’t read or a Author we had heard of but will check out soon just as you can. Especially if your #Homeschooling and studying the “future”. Fred shows them a globs and Fred explains things to them which could be a History or Government Class.

Fred stopped the Globe on France where his parents were born. Ethans points to Scotland where his dads family is from. Another State for you to study. Mom’s family is from Sweden a Country Charlie and I would like to study.

There is some phares in Fate Of The Future which were hard for David and Charlie to say and we all had to look them up because we wasn’t sure what they were. Another #teachingmoment” was learning what jurisdiction is.

Have you heard of “coercion”? Remember the story the “Golden Rul” it’s mentioned in this story as well. I love how this story reminded of us things we learned in other books including a monopoly, La Plays and the Food Trucks.

The decided on there activity and call it “The Fate of the Future” and each family has a problem to work on and they have to come up with ways Society can help solve the problem. This would have been fun to do in our #Homeschool Class and since learning should never stop we can still do this in our home. Would you want to do this with us?

I like how everyone’s problems was shared and we can use these ideas in our own home and try them out. We also learn about “polycentric law” another #teachingmoment” for my family. I like how the families used Legos to get there thoughts across.

Make sure you check out the glossary in the back of the book and the discussion questions. Don’t forget to check out the Activity/Workbook. As well as the Author and Illustrator. You can find more of the books here.

About the book:

The history of the world is a tale of some people bossing others around, but brave thinkers have always

After Ethan and Emily watch a dystopian film portraying a future full of coercion, they realize that they need to learn how to avoid it.

The twins discover that the fate of the future—and all of humanity—depends on thinking of ways we can work together peacefully, to build a better society without relying on coercion.

Enter Murray Rothbard, author of Anatomy of the State, whose book teaches the Tuttle Twins that the fate of the future and all of humanity depends on thinking of ways we can work together peacefully, to build a better society without relying on coercion.

Connor Boyack is president of Libertas Institute, a free market think tank. In that capacity, he has spearheaded dozens of successful policy reforms in areas such as education reform, civil liberties, government transparency, business deregulation, personal freedom, and more.

Connor has published over 40 books and sold over 5 million copies. He is best known for The Tuttle Twins books, a children’s series introducing young readers to economic, political, and civic principles. He is also executive producer of the Tuttle Twins animated cartoon series.

The Tuttle books are for upper elementary students and they are chapter books which can not only be used when #Homeschooling but story time for both boys and girls. I believe these books should be in all School Libraries.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
