Charlie and I had been wanting a sweet snack this morning to go with our Coffee. I handed Charlie The Perfect Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix that takes just Eggs and Butter to make. Items that are staples in most people’s kitchen. Right? Guess what.

We didn’t have any Eggs so we could make The Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookie which is okay. David is going to stop by the Grocery Store this evening and pick up Eggs for us. That is if we can afford the Eggs which had been way overpriced in my book.

Tonight is Friday night so it’s movie night in our home and now were going to have the perfect snack because David and Charlie made The Perfect Chocolate Chunk Cookie for us while I worked. I loved hearing Charlie and David in the kitchen without electronics spending time together.

The Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookie were Fudgy which we loved. In the cookies is Semi-Sweet Chocolate and Sea Salt which I thought we might not like but the Sea Salt gave the Cookies a nice taste. There is also a hint of Vanilla and it wasn’t overpowering at all.

The only problem I had was keeping Charlie from eating all of the Batter before the Cookies were cooked. What can I say other than I do the same thing. How about you? The mix calls for one stick of Butter so you know there going to be extra Buttery which was fine with me.

It’s a good thing we had Parchment Paper in our home from a earlier review for Thrive Market Box to line the Cookie sheets with. This mix will make 12 Cookies which is just enough to share with our friends and family without having wasted Cookies.

Charlie is so funny he wanted to get the Hand Mixer out to mix The Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookie, I made Charlie stir the Cookies with a wooden spoon like my grandmother used to do and you would have thought I was killing Charlie. The Cookies need to be in the Ice Box for 30 minutes before Cooking which is enough time for me to go walking. Would you want to come with me?

The Cookies only have to Bake for 15 to 18 minutes before there ready to cool off and devour. The sad part The Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookie contains Wheat and Soy so my sister wasn’t able to try the Cookies with her Gluten-Free Diet and she missed out on the perfect treat.

I can’t wait to check out all the fun and unique recipes you will find on Cravings By Chrissy Telgen. If your @Homeschooling your children or there wanting to learn to cook these mixes are perfect for beginning cooks and people in a hurry who wants fresh deserts without breaking the bank.
