Charlie and I would like to welcome you to our Would You Rather Challenge: February 21, 2026. The challenge is brought to you from the children’s book The Ultimate Book of Would You Rather Questions: 1001 Family-Friendly Challenges for Kids, Teens and Adults by Kimberly McLeod.
We used this challenge when #Homeschooling Charlie full time in our #Homeschool Creative Writing Class and also for free reading time. Now we use the questions to get conversation flowing in our home and also on my social media sites and you can do the same.
Would you rather your school have a free gumball machine or a free popcorn maker? Why?
As much as I love Popcorn it gets into my teeth and I can’t get it our causing a #toothache a lot of times. I would choose to have a gumball machine in my school because I love to chew Gum and it doesn’t bother me.
Charlie also said he loves Popcorn but broke his tooth on a kernel of Popcorn so he would choose a Gumball machine as well. David said no, matter how much Popcorn might hurt his teeth he would still prefer the Popcorn Machine than a Gumball Machine.
